Position Summary
Perform machine set-up, operation and tear-down of equipment used to manufacture and assemble subsea umbilicals. Candidate must be able to work safely to ensure daily task meet Oceaneering's expectations. Required to work through competency programs to gain competencies on multiple manufacturing lines. Provide support to daily production flow and be able to use stop work authority to evaluate unsafe conditions.
This position is located at an onsite manufacturing location. No travel required. This is a rotating shift position. Shift pattern will change between Day/Night shift every 3 months. Shift wage premiums will apply.
Duties And Responsibilities
Operate, set up and tear down production machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines under immediate supervision of a certified operator used in manufacture and assembly of subsea umbilicals.
Be able to work safety and use stop work authority to evaluate unsafe conditions.
Work through internal competency programs to gain competencies on manufacturing lines.
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications, accurately and in a timely
fashion.
Assists with the machine/s set-up and operation.
Monitor the quality of product as being produced and notify supervisor or other operators when problems are spotted.
Understand the quality policy and be able to identify a quality product from an unacceptable one.
Understand work center training and safety requirements through JSEA's, Process Maps, and Work Instructions.
Complete production documentation and Pre-Assessments of work center as required.
Maintain knowledge of company maintenance procedures, assist with daily maintenance checks and activities for work center as required.
Run overhead cranes and drive forklifts.
Onsite training provided.
Qualifications
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures that apply to a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) to access work area.
Requires ability to work 8-12-hour shifts, with possibility to work more than 40 hours a week when needed.
Possesses basic knowledge of computers.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.

Manufacturing Quality Control work includes:

Position Summary:
This is the third level of the Transmission Contracts classification hierarchy.
This position is responsible for execution of the Transmission Provider (TP) activities and support of Duke Energy initiatives regarding the TP function. Key responsibilities include; supporting Duke Energy's Transmission Owner (TO) functions, providing input into business practices supporting the TP and TO functions, monitoring TP and TO filings and business practices, monitoring the regulatory environment for changes in rules, and representing Duke Energy concerning TP and TO issues. Coordinate the negotiation and execution of transmission service agreements. Communicate and coordinate with Corporate Accounting and Billing to ensure proper account setup and correct billing and payment posting in accordance with the requirements of the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT)
Maintain a thorough understanding and in-depth knowledge of the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and the Federal regulations impacting the OATT.
Monitor and maintain transmission customer accounts including regular contact and communications to answer questions and contribute to a positive working relationship with the transmission customers. Provide responses to the customers in a professional and timely manner.
Determine credit worthiness of prospective customer and secure appropriate instrument to protect Duke Energy from undue credit risks. Possess a thorough understanding of various customer's Letters of Guaranty and various bank's forms of letters of Credit and effectively negotiate acceptance of these instrument with prospective customers, as appropriate. Provide updates to the approved customer lists and FERC Electronic Quarterly Report (EQR) based on credit related changes.
Develop and implement process measures for the Transmission Service Agreements process and participate in the development of transmission provider process measures

Position Summary: This position is responsible for daily grounds/irrigation maintenance, customer yard damage repairs, and assists with facilities tasks when needed. Position Responsibilities
* Ability to perform daily grounds and irrigation maintenance to include:
* Trimming of shrubs, bushes, and tree branches.
* Plant trees and shrub fertilization.
* Repair of irrigation piping; cleaning of irrigation systems.
* Irrigation sprinkler replacement.
* Working knowledge of all types of grounds keeping equipment/trimmers, edgers, mowers, sod cutters, and hand tools.
* Perform customer yard damage repairs as needed to restore grass, mailboxes, fences, etc., plant/flower replacement, and replace landscape materials.
* Assist in hazardous/non-hazardous oil-spill cleanups and respond to after-hours work needs for emergencies.
* Operate cars, trucks, backhoe, lawn equipment & dump truck.
* Responsible for the performance of assigned work in accordance with LCEC standards and practices.
* Maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels within LCEC. Ensure smooth operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during all interpersonal contacts. Provide current and accurate information to all requesters, courteously and in a timely manner.
* Support Storm Restoration efforts when needed. Work in emergency storm situations (i.e. hurricanes) and work long hours (>12 hours per day) for many continuous days/weeks as needed.

Education

Position Summary

The Transformer SME provides the first level of technical field support beyond the field crews, C&M Supervisors, and the Region Engineer for issues associated with Transformers, Regulators, and other ancillary components. The Transformer SME serves as a conduit between C&M, Engineering, and Asset Management peers to provide expertise for operational issues associated with Transformers, Regulators, and other associated ancillary components.

Provides field support for troubleshooting, adjustment, repair, and replacement of Transformer, Regulator, and other ancillary components
Assists Region Engineer with outage analysis, documentation, and follow-up
Provides support and/or operation for discipline specific test equipment needs and training
Provides forensic analysis on failed parts and equipment, including support for Root/Apparent cause investigations
Works with System Intelligence to record transformer and regulator failures and assign failure codes for tracking and trending.
Performs substation, mobile (portable), and equipment condition assessments
Works with System Intelligence to evaluate the performance and reliability of Transformer and Regulator assets and identifies/mitigates the system and/or equipment issues that may impact system reliability.
Establishes working relationships with industry organizations and counterparts within other utilities to learn about industry trends/practices and to share information regarding equipment and maintenance initiatives
Evaluates equipment being removed from service for future disposition
Assists System Intelligence in evaluating Condition Based Monitoring equipment/data and works with vendor to assist in repairs.
Acts as liaison between Asset Management and C&M Substation Supervisors/technicians.

Nuclear may require either Professional Engineer registration, a Masters Degree in a technical discipline, SRO certification, an RO or SRO license, or Technical Nuclear certification
A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree

Position Summary: This position is responsible for installing and maintaining all equipment related to LCEC's Supervisory/Control telemetry system in substations and pole mounted devices. This position is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure for LCEC's dispatch radio system. This position is responsible for maintaining the substation electronics and communication facilities that operate LCEC's AMR system.
Position Responsibilities
This position is responsible for calibrating, installing, and maintaining communication, electronic and associated equipment which will ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of LCEC's transmission and distribution electric system.
Must be able to understand and work within LCEC and OSHA safety standards.
Abide by all LCEC safety policies and guidelines.
Must act with a sense of urgency to troubleshoot and resolve complex electronic problems related to communication, monitoring and control systems.
Ability to work independently on complex electronic schemes and in a team environment to
accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
Must be able to identify and plan work, and coordinate with others within the organization (including System Operations, Engineering and Substation Dept) to successfully execute.
Maintain a clean work area and inspect shop and work sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
Provide ongoing maintenance of all transmission, substation, and distribution SCADA control systems.
Provide ongoing maintenance of all communication equipment related to LCEC's AMR system, including processor and electronic equipment in substations.
Provide ongoing maintenance of LCEC voice and data radio system equipment (wireless modems, radios, repeaters, base stations, consoles).
Troubleshoot and make repairs on SCADA control systems, AMR and radio system equipment.
Maintain wireless camera equipment including router, solar array, charger and batteries at LCEC transmission water crossings.
Install, perform acceptance testing, and commission new equipment for SCADA/AMR/Communication system replacement or expansion.
Perform evaluations, test, and make recommendations on new or revised equipment.
Participate in project pre-engineering by providing technical input and information as required.
Monitor levels of appropriate parts required to repair systems on a daily basis. Notify supervisor of any deficiencies.
Mentor appropriate personnel in operation and maintenance of SCADA, AMR and communication facilities.
Provide mentoring to technicians at equal or lower steps. The department supervisor may, at his/her discretion, identify or create these training opportunities.
Maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers at all levels within LCEC. Ensure smooth operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during all interpersonal contacts. Provide current and accurate information to all requesters, courteously and in a timely manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Support Storm Restoration efforts when needed. Work in emergency storm situations (i.e. hurricanes) and work long hours (>12 hours per day) for many continuous days/weeks as needed.
Education
High School Diploma or the equivalent (Required) and
An associate's degree or a two-year technical or trade school certificate of completion in electronics or electrical engineering technology; computer technology, networks or information systems; fiber optics; or related field (Required) or
Documented completion of a 4-year utility SCADA technician apprenticeship program, equivalent to journey-level certification.
Experience
Two (2) years' experience in troubleshooting electronic systems consisting of microprocessor-based systems and analog systems. (Required)
Two (2) years' experience in troubleshooting supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, intelligent electronic devices (IEDs), or electronic communication protocols or
Two (2) years' experience in troubleshooting data or voice-based RF equipment or
Two (2) years' experience in utilizing a PC to download, modify, and upload configuration files to microprocessor-based equipment. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work independently within one (1) year of job award. (Required)
Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations and outside of regular assigned shift; ability to work overtime, on-call and availability to respond to call-outs and maintain an acceptable call out response. (Required)
Must live within a 45-minute commute from regular worksite. (Required)
Must be able to travel daily within the service area; field work in an electrical substation environment with regular exposure to energized and de-energized equipment on voltages ranging up to 138kV; exposure to adverse weather conditions; bucket truck or ladder at pole mounted devices, platforms on communication towers (no climbing), and general office environment. (Required)
Licenses/Certifications
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License. (Required)
General Communications Technician - Level 1 or higher; or equivalent certification. (Preferred)
