As our Lead Systems SolutionArchitecture, you'll support HID's success by:
Leading complex IT projects and changing implementations with minimal supervision.
Driving process improvement initiatives aligned with ITIL best practices.
Documenting and communicating project decisions via design documents, plans, and process flows.
Designing and implementing enterprise-level network architectures and hybrid infrastructure.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
Automating deployments and configurations using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews and pairing.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on network automation and security initiatives.
Developing and enforcing information security policies and procedures.
Conducting security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensuring compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and CFIUS.

Independently managing support calls and outage notifications.
Applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to build scalable, resilient systems.

Partnering with product, QA, and supporting teams to align technicalsolutions with business goals.

Your Experience and Background include:
Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Networking, Software Engineering or related field.
6-8 years of relevant experience (or Master's with 5-6 years).
Preferred certifications: AWS, Networking, On-Premises Virtualization (VMWare, Proxmox, Hyper-V), Windows/Linux.
In-depth understanding of IT operations, cloud technologies, and ITIL practices.
Expertise in enterprise-level network design, advanced troubleshooting, and automation.
Expertise in AWS Cloud (automation/deployments via Terraform/CloudFormation), On-Prem Virtualization (VMWare/Proxmox/Hyper-V), Windows and Linux OS expertise, etc.
Experience with CI/CD tools, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and DevOps methodologies

About the Sr. Director, Technology - SolutionsArchitect
The role will be part of a collaborative team which co-creates and designs innovative solutions for our current and prospective clients. The MSA will play a critical role in defining digital experience platform architecture, technology strategy, software and technicalarchitecture, design and implementation of these client's initiatives. Solutions will encompass a broad range of technologies and platforms within the Digital Experience Platforms landscape, especially with CMS, CEP, Marketing Automation, CDP, and analytics-heavy solutions.

Client advisory: Serving as a technical and strategic advisor, providing guidance on digital marketing strategies and helping clients make informed decisions.
Pre-Sales Consulting: Partnering with our Sales team to help grow the organization.
Technical leadership: Leading complex, large-scale solution implementations and breaking down complex strategies into actionable requirements.
Cross-functional collaboration: Working with technical leads, product teams, and partners to ensure successful deployment and alignment with customer needs.
Knowledge sharing: Contributing to the consulting practice by developing and sharing best practices, methodologies, and templates.
Communicate: Articulate the transition from current to future state in consideration of the future needs of the business, security policies and requirements. Break down complex business and technical strategies and roadmaps into consumable requirements for teams to execute against.
Estimation: Participate in discovery of technical project requirements, scope and provide recommendations for phased program delivery. Create or contribute to project delivery estimations based on your recommendations and provide realistic level of effort estimations.
Your Experience & Intangible Traits:
The ideal candidate for the SolutionsArchitect position will possess the following competencies:
15+ years of aggregate experience in digital technologies, including architecting and developing large-scale web applications
5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Acquia/Drupal, Sitecore, Optimizely, Adobe, or similar Digital Experience Platforms or Marketing Automation
5+ years of experience in client-facing technology consulting and pre-sales roles
Ability to methodically estimate technology execution scope of work in terms of budget and resources
Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, cross channel marketing, mobile, data driven optimization of experiences
Ability to define conceptual technology solution and articulate the value of technology to drive creative marketing platforms and present technology solutions to both technical and non-technical clients
Ability to translate client goals into achievable technical specifications
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, mathematics or equivalent
Experience with any of the following would be relevant to the role and considered a plus:
Experience developing modern applications using cloud-native abilities of AWS or Azure
Hands-on experience implementing complex customer journeys, personalization, and targeted customer offerings through use of CDPs, data lakes and analytics solutions, which extend or integrate with digital experience platforms.
Experience designing and/or implementing Commercetools, Magento, Shopify or similar E-Commerce platforms.
Experience with any of the following: Treasure Data, mParticle, Braze, VWO, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AEP, AJO

15+ years of aggregate experience in digital technologies, including architecting and developing large-scale web applications

What You Will Do

Manage and direct external Architects, Engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, budget, and Disney standards.

Serve as a technicalarchitectural specialist with strong knowledge of architectural detailing, coordination of sections and elevations, requirements for UL listing, design options for fire protection, waterproofing and material transitions.
Demonstrate familiarity with all phases of design and construction, from feasibility and schematic design through construction administration and closeout.
Participate in and support construction activities, including on-site presence to analyze and facilitate issue resolution.
Provide leadership during Construction Administration, including: 1) Coordination with Architects of Record (AOR), Engineers of Record (EOR), and General Contractors; 2) Guidance on permitting strategies, inspections, and field issue resolution; and 3) Review, processing and resolution of RFIs.
Act as a liaison with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and regulatory agencies, representing Disney's interests throughout design and construction.
