Weston & Sampson is currently seeking a Project Manager with 8-12 years of experience for Southwest Florida. The Project Manager will be primarily serving municipal water, wastewater, and reclaimed water-related client services.
What you'll do:
+ Assisting with the pursuit and prosecution of work associated with planning, design, and construction administration of a variety of water/wastewater/reclaimed water related projects for public clients.
+ Direct communications with clients on technical design topics and project schedule/budget/scope.
+ Leading project teams and communicating between diverse design disciplines.
+ Establishing long-term client relationships and supporting business development activities.
+ Established relationships with municipal clients in Southwest Florida in the areas of water, wastewater, and/or reclaimed water projects.
+ Assist with business development, marketing, and proposal preparation.
+ Lead project teams on the design and delivery of water/wastewater/reclaimed water conveyance and facilities design, including related studies.
+ Reviews assigned project(s) to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences and develops schedules, budgets, staffing, sub-consultant involvement, and progress billing points.
+ Prepare and/or supervise engineering reports, studies, calculations, and checks drawings.
+ Perform sophisticated and complicated designs and calculations in accordance with established standards and software.
+ Support procurement including supplier qualifications, bid reviews, process design requirements, review of design drawings and supplier documents, successful resolution of manufacturing discrepancies, support for installation, generation of as-built drawings, and onsite support.
