Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally from one position to another. The driver is required to safely climb ladders and stairs using hands, arms, legs, and feet. The driver must be able to lift/move 50 to 100 pounds occasionally. The driver must be able to shovel rock, dirt, or snow for periods of up to two hours. The driver is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and equipment in accordance with Colorado Motor Vehicle licensing requirements. The driver is required to have adequate auditory function to hear instructions and safety signals. Working Conditions of this Position The driver may be subject to extreme heat. Temperatures may exceed 100 degrees. The driver may be exposed to severe cold. Frost, snow, and ice may be present on all surfaces. Rain, snow, sleet, hail, damaging winds, and lightening may occur at any time. The driver is subject to the hazards of working at heights and proximity to moving equipment and machinery. Licensing and Certification Requirements Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License or Commercial Driver's License. Must maintain a clean driving record and report any traffic violations as soon as they occur. CDL drivers must agree to random drug testing. CDL drivers must maintain a current DOT Physical Certification.
