    Job Details Experienced Martinez - Livermore, CA Full Time $24.00 - $28.00 Hourly WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING The Yard Coordinator/Forklift Driver is a key position out of our Livermore, California location. You will primarily be working outdoors supporting customer will calls, off loading transferred material from other Jensen locations, and ensuring that the material is organized. You quickly become the product expert - knowing what things are, how they're loaded safely and where they go in inventory. You will utilize hand held devices to ship and receive material and work with sales representatives and customers to ensure material is in stock and available for will calls. Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll collaborate with the sales teams, other branches and interact with customers, truck drivers and vendors. A highlight of your day to day will include: Choose and utilize the proper forklift, based on weight, to load, unload, transport, and stack material in appropriate areas. Operate forklift in yard areas in a safe manner, always abiding by the speed limits and safety policies. Move finished products and supplies from incoming transfer to the appropriate areas in the yard or loading material on customer trucks or out side truck carriers. Complete daily forklift inspections and keep work areas organized and clean. Utilize computer or hand held device to track, receive, and ship material. Successfully execute seasonal operations calendar Routinely monitor sites for quality and follow up with crews on performance improvements. Communicate continuing concerns to area manager Conduct and oversee execution of minor Enhancement projects performed at the crew level Complete daily paperwork timely and accurately Assess equipment operation issues and effectively communicate repair needs to shop personnel Supervise safe loading and unloading of equipment Assist Area Manager with initial and on-going training of crews, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of landscape maintenance tasks that leads to excellent performance and opportunities for Gardener/Sr. Gardener promotion Assess skill level and work behavior of employees and provide recommendations to Area Manager regarding professional development, performance evaluation and promotional opportunities Ensure adherence to company policies Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with Area Manager, peers, and subordinates Perform minor irrigation repairs and maintenance, including setting and adjusting clocks and controllers Encourage and maintain safe working conditions by promoting Company s Culture of Safety , including but not limited to reinforcing bi-weekly safety tailgate meetings and ensuring proper personal protective equipment usage Perform minor in-field maintenance and repairs of equipment Communicate when budgeted hours are not aligned with actual hours required to perform work Other duties as assigned Total Rewards At Monarch, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain top talent.
