Assists management in daily operations of Department and is responsible for the management of the department in management's absence. Responsible for various specific duties including processing of Payroll, quarterly reports, W-2's and tax account reconciliations. Ideal candidate will have Certified Payroll Experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Assist other clerks with problems as they arise and are the SME of the payroll system and its capabilities. 2. Assists supervisor in daily operation of the department. 3. Audits weekly 40 hour exception reports, processes W-4s, PAFs and craft transfers and runs standard system reports, (e.g. time and pay edits, and certified payroll reports.) 4. Batches, processes and verifies labor time sheets and communicates with jobsite personnel to reduce errors. 5. Completes weekly payroll processing cycle. 6. Prepares correspondence to the field and is responsible for maintenance of the Employee Master. 7. Responsible for payroll activities pertaining to administrative personnel. 8. Responsible for proper allocation, verification and distribution of W-2s and processes Quarterly and Annual Tax Reports and reconciliations to the General Ledger. 9. Review integrity of reports and corrects history records. Minimum Job Requirements 1. A minimum of five years accounting experience, with a minimum of three years in Payroll. Some supervisory experience. 2. Able to work extended hours on a regular basis. Excellent data entry skills & Excel. 3. High school diploma or equivalent and some entry level college accounting classes. 4. Must have decision making capabilities and leadership qualities, be detail oriented and capable of high volume output under stress. 5. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. Job Summary The Project Scheduler will provide technical assistance in creating and updating CPM schedules at all phases of each project throughout their duration, from conceptual to close‐out. You will be Sundt Construction's in‐ house scheduling expert, including coordinating the CPM schedule creation and updating tasks directly with the project superintendent. The Project Scheduler produces and delivers various reports from the CPM schedule to the project team and may supervise one or more Project Scheduler assistants. The Project Scheduler position includes 2 steps based on experience in the function which are as follows:- Project Scheduler I - 3‐5 years CPM scheduling experience in similar types of construction.- Project Scheduler, Sr. - 5+ years CPM scheduling experience in similar types of construction. Key Responsibilities 1. Assists in the development of claims by providing analysis of project CPM schedule performance. 2. Assists the Project Superintendent with the incorporation into the CPM schedule the effects form design conflicts and clarifications. 3. Assists the project superintendent with the management of the CPM schedule for the successful execution of the work, including the coordination of the means and methods, manpower, equipment and material resources required to accomplish this goal. 4. Conducts project CPM schedule review meetings at each of proposal, baseline and update phases. 5. Creates the baseline schedule based on logic and sequence information provided by the project superintendent. 6. Develops proposal phase CPM schedules from project information provided by the estimating team and historical database. 7. Produces a final as-built CPM schedule at the completion of each project. 8. Provides reports each month to the general manager indicating the status of the CPM schedule for each project. 9. Regularly updates and maintains the historical CPM schedule database. 10. Revises each project CPM schedule on a weekly basis from reports completed by the project superintendent. Minimum Job Requirements 1. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential. 2. Five years or more of CPM scheduling experience in similar types of construction. 3. Four year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. 4. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. 5. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), scheduling systems, negotiations, engineering and cost control schedules. Responsibilities * Provide pick-up and delivery service of equipment, parts and supplies for mechanics, oilers, and leadership. * Provides customer service and support. * Represents FNF by presenting a positive image to internal and external customers and vendors. * Ensures accuracy of parts ordered during pick-up and delivery. * Assists mechanics and oilers as required. * Organizes filter kits and checklists for Oiler use. * Delivers oil samples to lab. * Collects cores from jobsites and Equipment Center and returns them to vendors for credit. * Returns unused parts to vendors to avoid restocking fees. * Helps in locating various new and used parts for use in fleet maintenance. * Reads meters and reports hour usage on fleet vehicles and equipment. * Places decals on both owned and leased fleet vehicles. * Fuels equipment on yard and in the field from fuel transfer tanks. * Reports equipment repair needs to Maintenance Administrator. * Assists Mobilization department in loading and unloading equipment, as well as various tasks required in assembling trailers. * Assists in housekeeping within the Equipment Center, including crushing filters, sweeping, washing of bays, etc. * Collects all salvageable items and stores them in proper areas. (Includes scrap steel, blown hoses, batteries, etc.) * Maintains Company vehicle in a clean and orderly state inside and out at all times. * Other duties as assigned.
