Responsibilities: Class A Lineman (Journeyman Level):

Climb poles and work at heights while following safety protocols.
Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other equipment.

Class C Lineman (Entry-Level):

Learn and follow safety procedures, including wearing PPE and attending safety meetings.
Develop skills to advance within the lineman classification.
Qualifications: Class A Lineman:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a lineman.
Journeyman Lineman certification preferred.
Experience working on energized high-voltage lines.
Valid CDL Class A license preferred.
Class B Lineman:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in electrical line work.

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking a Principal Support Engineer to develop a new BESS Optimization program within Strata to support our existing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), our new BESS projects in construction and those coming soon from our 10GWhr pipeline. The initial focus being on defining and documenting an approach to advanced system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair strategies for large BESS projects spanning multiple OEM technologies. The scope of the role is intended to grow to include development and execution of Life-cycle Optimization strategies integrating operations data, new advanced analytics tools (Anomaly Detection to AI/ML), reliability data and cutting-edge software. This role acts as a critical liaison between OEM Engineering, Field Services, and Asset Management, ensuring our systems remain reliable, serviceable and financially optimized throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of power systems, inverters, or energy storage, and enjoys solving complex technical issues in the field and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts for BESS field issues and coordinate cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for field repair strategies and technical escalations.
Develop repair procedures, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation to support field technicians.

Maintain a strong working knowledge of electrical theory and train employees to understand electrical design
drawings as well as quickly identify & escalate electrical safety hazards.
Oversee all scheduled and unscheduled plant maintenance activities in the assigned region, and perform
maintenance activities where needed with the objective of optimizing plant performance and plant operating
efficiency, as well as preserving warranties on plant equipment exceeding $100 million in value.
Confirm compliance with warranty and O&M contract obligations on a regular basis.
Perform analysis of inspection and testing data provided by field personnel and subcontractors, and provide technical

Compile maintenance reports that professionally present the results of work done by employees and subcontractors,
and provides evidence of warranty preservation.
Participate in system design reviews, scope of work reviews, and legal contract reviews for new projects that SSS is

Work on and around energized electrical parts in compliance with all electrical codes and company policies as

underground fault locator, insulation resistance tester, and crimping tool as well as a variety of hand tools in the
performance of electrical maintenance work.
Supervise Lockout/Tagout activities to ensure work is always performed in compliance with intended electrical
isolation procedures.
Develop switching orders & perform switching on devices up to and including 230kV transmission grid connection
points.
Troubleshoot & diagnose a wide range of Direct Current (“DC”) faults within the PV plant and perform DC preventive
maintenance activities.
Operate medium- and high-voltage load-break devices in the performance of preventive & reactive maintenance.
Perform advanced troubleshooting & maintenance on SCADA systems as well as measurement sensors.
Operate machinery such as bucket truck, variable reach forklift, and mini-excavator in the performance of plant
maintenance activities.
Lead investigations of plant outages, DC underperformance, and other unexpected plant & SCADA behavior.
Supervise other technicians and subcontractors in their performance of maintenance activities.
Develop & implement preventive maintenance schedules based on component warranty requirements & electrical
best practices.
Perform isolation, grounding, & maintenance on medium-voltage transformers.
Lead on-the-job electrical & task-specific training for other employees and subcontractors.
Complete and submit all assigned inspection and testing data as required. Create excellent, detailed documentation
within our work ticketing software system so that we can always deliver professional reporting to our customers.
Perform acceptance inspections on newly assigned PV plants in the assigned region.
Pull data files, troubleshoot communications issues, and maneuver monitoring software using a PC or Tablet.
Provision replacement devices and upload/share photos via service tickets.
Conduct basic networking, such as changing IP addresses on laptop to connect with equipment.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum five (5) years experience working directly on energized industrial AC and DC systems with at least two of
those years working on PV power generation systems or similar systems with directly transferable skills that align

process adherence of the personnel performing such work.
Ability to demonstrate strong working knowledge of electrical theory & PV power generating system fundamentals.

Summary:
The Traveling Solar Electrical Technician is a highly motivated solar electrical technician whose demonstrated expertise enables them to perform advanced electrical, telecommunication, and mechanical repair and maintenance activities, to include testing and repair of all major and balance-of system components utilized in utility scale solar photovoltaic (“PV”) power generation. This professional will be leading and overseeing a team of PPM Special Projects Field Technicians and be responsible for scheduling and completion of special projects across the fleet.

Create project estimates for Solare and BESS projects.
Complete quantity takeoffs, summations of material proposal comparisons, and estimate summary sheets
Solicit bid estimates from trade contractors
Solicit new bidders when needed, and gather necessary documents for inclusion in future projects
Interface routinely with Engineering to support new technology and innovation initiatives with cost and other commercial considerations.

Strata Solar Services (SSS) is currently seeking a full-time entry level Compliance Specialist for our fleet of NERC-level solar plants and CIP Medium-Impact control room. This individual will be part of ensuring SSS’ ongoing compliance with all applicable North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) regulations and NERC-related customer contracts. The role is primarily focused on Solar Plants that produce > 75 MW and connect to the transmission system 100 kV and above. Ensuring compliance results in helping to maintain the integrity of the entire Transmission Power Grid, while providing that system with renewable and clean energy. The role will report to the Director of Remote Operations & Compliance, and work closely with the Remote Operations Center Manager and other control room staff (Portfolio Leads & Operators).

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in the Solar Construction industry with a general contractor
Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with construction project management applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to interface directly with owners' representatives, the A/E team, building departments, and other team members
ERP experience and experience is a plus
