POSITION PURPOSE:
The Striping Foreman directs, coordinates and completes all aspects of production for parking lot striping of all paving and asphalt projects for the Division and is a key participant in the relationship with customers, contractors and the public.
essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities with Sunland's Core Values at the forefront.
Directly supervise field personnel and direct them in all aspects of production.
Is an ambassador of safety and promotes and enforces a safety culture that complies with all federal, state, contract and company regulations.
Must be able to do all aspects of parking lot striping including; striping parking lots and roadways either as new layout, re-stripe or after seal coating or paving, torch-down thermoplastic, buttons and reflectors, signs and various other items.
Maintain and repair striping machines as needed
Responsible and accountable for the safety of the crew under his/her direction; ensure all company employees and subcontractors are adhering to Company safety policies and guidelines, to include: promote job-site safety, encourage safe work practices, proactively identify job site hazards and rectify them immediately in conjunction with Superintendent.
Regularly conduct safety and job site meetings with field personnel and sub -contractors.
Work in conjunction with the Production Manager, superintendent, project consultant and other members of the team to coordinate production activities and production schedule.
Ensure that all jobs are reviewed and correctly laid out prior to field personnel arriving on site.
Translate contract/job requirements into a prioritized work plan for field personnel.
Develop and modify work processes that ensure the highest standards of quality, productivity, cost control and profitability.
Oversee the execution of work, to ensure that field personnel are scheduled and complete the job within contract/job confines. May periodically reassess daily goals to meet forecasted production.
Serve as key Company representative in the field, communicating with customers, sub-contractors, vendors and the general public. Help to manage customer and public expectations and provide a high level of customer service.
Lead by example and invokes Sunland's core values.
Review and inspect completed job and meet with Superintendent, Production Manager, and/or Project Consultant to rectify any concerns.
Responsible for inputting job costs, material costs and labor into Company systems daily.
Maintain daily logs as required by Company or Contractor requirements.
Develop and mentor field personnel.
Establish and communicate performance expectations and provide performance feedback.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years related experience in heavy construction preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to read blue prints and layouts accordingly.
Must have computer skills and the ability to complete administrative tasks.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
Must be fluent in English, i.e., must be able to speak, read and write English.
Must meet FMCSA English proficiency requirements under 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2), including the ability to read and speak English, understand highway signs, respond to official inquiries, and make required entries on reports and records. To ensure Sunland Asphalt complies with this federal mandate, all 10K-CMV and CDL drivers will be required to complete and pass an English proficiency assessment.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
A current driver's license. A CDL license is preferred and even be required for some departments/divisions.

Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) including lubrication, fluid changes, screen replacements, belt adjustments, and component inspections

Assist with plant rebuilds, relocations, and major shutdown maintenance
Complete detailed maintenance logs and work orders

Safely move materials, load stokepiles, and assist with plant cleanup and resets
Perform basic daily equipment checks before and after use

Collaborate with plant and mobile equipment teams to minimize downtime
Assist in training operations on equipment care and inspection practices
Address any housekeeping issues within the workspace; maintain a clean and organized work area
Drive to various facilities to perform maintenance and repair tasks; may also include periodic work at ready-mix plants
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays, to include but not limited to: hydraulic, mechanical, and pueumatice system issues
Understand and comply with MSHA rules and regulations; follow MSHA, company policies, and lockout/tagout procedures at all times
Identify and report safety hazards and/or equipment concerns immediately

* Safely install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems.
* Willing to assist in the development of apprentices.
* Safely operate various types of transmission equipment i.e. digger derrick, bucket trucks, wire pulling equipment.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Record of safe driving (CDL A required at hire).
* CPR and First Aid certification.
* Ability to climb poles and structures.
* Strong understanding and safety sense relating to energized systems.
* Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
* Wear specialized protective or safety equipment, working outdoors exposed to all weather conditions and terrain including the new right of way construction.

Position Summary
The Mechatronics Technician will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and control components. This is a hands-on role that combines practical shop-floor work with technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, basic to intermediate electrical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to keep equipment running at peak performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude with basic to intermediate electrical skills.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Hands-on skills in assembly, basic fabrication, and mechanical repairs.
Understanding of pneumatic systems and basic control systems.
Proficient in the use of common hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Familiarity with PLCs and automation control systems (basic programming knowledge is a plus).
Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
