Job Description
We are seeking a professional and responsible School Bus Driver for Preschool Special Education in Philadelphia, United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting preschool-aged children with special needs to and from school, ensuring their well-being and comfort during the journey.
Operate a school bus safely, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Transport preschool-aged children with special needs to and from school on a set schedule
Assist children with boarding and exiting the bus, including those with mobility devices
Ensure proper use of safety equipment, including seat belts and wheelchair securements
Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus
Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school administrators
Report any behavioral issues, safety concerns, or mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel
Participate in required training sessions and safety meetings
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts
Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations
Qualifications
Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with S (School Bus) and P (Passenger) Endorsements
Clean driving record with no major violations
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR and First Aid certification (may be required or provided by employer)
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with children, parents, and school staff
Patience and empathy when working with special needs children
Physical ability to assist children in boarding and exiting the bus
Ability to maintain a calm and controlled environment on the bus
Previous experience driving a school bus (preferred)
Experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred)
Experience working with special needs children (preferred)
Understanding of special education needs and accommodations
Flexibility to work early morning and afternoon shifts
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

The charter school program services school-age children who have been identified through their IEP as needing individual support. The Behavior Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) and contribute to creating a nurturing and effective learning environment. This individual will need to demonstrate flexibility in that they may be serving one student at a time or be supporting a classroom teacher in an assistant role.
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher in a related field and/or current RBT certification required.

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania seeks an energetic and passionate Special Education Teacher to serve young children with disabilities within our Approved Private School (APS) preschool program at the Montgomery County Location in Kulpsville, PA.
The Special Education Teacher will:
Lead the classroom team, including classroom assistants, to ensure consistent implementation of lesson plans, student supports, and a safe, positive learning environment.
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction and strategies to meet individual needs.
Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote academic, social, and developmental growth.
Collaborate with related service providers (OT, PT, SLP, etc.) to integrate therapeutic and educational supports throughout the school day.
Communicate regularly with families about student progress, IEP goals, and strategies for continued growth at home.
Support students' personal care and developmental needs in a nurturing, inclusive classroom setting.

Qualifications
