Perform cylinder exchange and vending machine training for both customer and AmeriGas personnel. Service - Install sand services customer and company installations by utilizing mechanical skills to examine equipment; performs testing on equipment and repair equipment as required to ensure safe operation. Meet all service level agreements in customer contracts that relate to timeliness of service and repair. Sales and Marketing - Maintain AmeriGas banners, signs and decals on vending machines and cages at customer sites. Maintain and clean vending machines and cages to present a positive retail installation. Record Keeping and Administration - Accurately record materials and labor utilized in service calls and installations; maintaining inventory controls; and completing appropriate paperwork for all work completed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: DOT licensing and requirements; CDL with HazMat and air brakes endorsement; CETP; any state and local licenses required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our renewable energy team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be a key contributor to the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar energy systems-including battery storage solutions. Your expertise in electrical systems, energy storage technologies, and renewable energy installations will ensure the safe and efficient operation of solar and battery systems while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Electricians must be well-versed in residential wiring and able to coordinate with multiple crew members during the installation process. This position requires strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with onsite team members and our corporate office. Essential Duties: * Work cooperatively with team members to complete residential solar and battery storage installations. * Ensure that work is performed in a professional manner to conform to existing national and local building codes. * Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues. * Lead the installation of electrical systems that interconnect the solar array to the grid. * Ensure work performed is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes. Key Competencies: * Possession of either national or state journeyman electrician license. * Working knowledge of current NEC codes. * Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels. * PV Solar installation experience is preferred but not required. * Must be experienced with all required hand/power tools associated with the electrical trade. * Ability to read and interpret single line drawings. * Must be comfortable working from ladders and at heights. * Compliant with OSHA standards
