Qualifications: • Significant experience (+5 years) and demonstrated expertise working in the fields of Information and Network Security, as well as Data Networks • Proven knowledge and experience working on network based intrusion detection/prevention systems, including intelligent network by-pass switching infrastructure. • Proficient in data/packet capture, analysis and troubleshooting • Understand malware/malicious patterns and behaviours, able to define controls or policies to provide detection and mitigation against security threats • Proven knowledge and experience working on data networks and a good understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, network architecture, routing protocols and troubleshooting networks • Good knowledge about current security industry solutions, best practices, developments and trends. • Proven problem solver with ability to provide in-depth analysis of complex problems, manage risk and make quick decisions. • Good written and oral communications skills. • Strong relationship and collaboration skills within a team, as well as with external service providers, technology colleagues and business partners.
