Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
· Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
· Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
· Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
· Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.

Qualifications:
GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
· Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.

Young Talkers is a private pediatric and adult speech-language pathology therapy clinic located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC. Our clinic provides all of the Speech-Language Pathologists with a significant amount of clinical speech-language pathology treatment and testing materials, in addition to IPads, laptops, and desktops issued to the individual SLPs. The SLPs on our team have a strong passion for pediatrics. We have a great team of Speech-Language Pathologists that work together to support each other. Our philosophy is to involve the families in the treatment to maximize the child's or adult's potential progress.
Our diverse caseload could include children with: Autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, feeding disorders, phonological/articulation disorders, cochlear implants, language disorders, fluency disorder, and other disorders. The job positions will require the provision of speech-language pathology services for ages birth to 18 years old in a clinic setting with the opportunity to also work in a school setting, daycare/preschools, or home environment (EI) a small percentage of time.
We do have the opportunity and option to offer experience with adults, as well for those who are interested in gaining experience in this area or who really enjoy working with this population as well. The adults are seen in our clinic in the areas of voice, swallowing, language including brain injury and CVA. Our adult patients are seen for therapy in our Myrtle Beach office, as well as a new office in Pawleys Island that we have been working with in an established audiology practice. Position DescriptionThe goal of the Merchandising Assistant is to gain experience in the everyday operations of a Minor League Baseball merchandise operation. Maintains a safe work environment for all team members, members, owners, and guests. Ensures all departmental staff is working safely and in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Adheres to all corporate required purchasing policies and controls to include all outside contractor bids, budgets and schedules. Conducts departmental meetings, participates in annual departmental budget, and ensures department meets all quality assurance standards in accordance with company policies.
