The Oncology Exercise Physiologist will be the foundation of the Miami Cancer Institute exercise physiology program for cancer patients and survivors. This will include individual exercise consults, group education classes, pre and post fitness assessments, and supervised training sessions. Working with the medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists as well as all multidisciplinary team members of the Cancer Institute, the oncology exercise physiologist will assist patient/s with assessments, education, and training to achieve a healthier lifestyle and aid in prevention of cancer or other chronic disease recurrence.
