Job Skills / Requirements HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is currently hiring full-time, part-time, and flex Campus Safety Patrol Officers in the Savannah, GA area. These positions have a starting pay rate of $17/hr - with weekly pay. All shifts and days are available, including weekends. General Requirements: Three (3) years of verifiable driving experience is required! One (1) year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is required! Examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper functioning; uses keys to open and close buildings; monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities. Informs and warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or compliance with policy. Provides escort services for visitors, students, staff, and faculty, as necessary; provides other public assistance, such as jump-starts, and routine information. Watches for and reports irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contacts emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required. Remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious persons and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront and/or detain violators, as required, until police arrive. Performs periodic checks of emergency call boxes and/or street lights to ensure proper functioning; reports malfunctions as required. Patrols and monitors assigned parking areas and/or parking garages to provide public security and assistance. Prepares routine, standardized reports. May provide specialized security in a special operational area, requiring specific knowledge of the operating environment. Serves as Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Who you are You bring 5+ years of hands-on Sales Operations experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or infrastructure businesses - networking is an even bigger plus. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Communications, Business Administration, English, Public Relations, or a related field. 5 or more years of Federal government proposal management experience with progressively greater responsibilities. Solid time management and excellent organizational skills. Excellent proficiency in MS Office products (primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design. Ability to work with colleagues (including executive level) with varying levels of proposal experience and maintain courteous and professional working relationships. Enable successful task completion to produce technical value from the company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Aids in growth of company with a focus on wastewater business line technical services, ranging from Biosolids treatment to conveyance and disposal management. • Engages clients in meaningful discussions about their most critical issues and translates those discussions into opportunities to deliver complete Project solutions. Captures technical notes. • Actively participate in pursuit decisions, and in proposal and pricing development. • Engage and develop relationships with key Industry partners including Vendors, Contractors and Licensing agreements that can help advance BCR's position in the marketplace. • Responsible for collecting all regulatory required data, compiling regulatory reports, maintaining files of analysis results and regulatory reports and coordinating research. • Manage the technical aspect of projects through the engineering process by assigning work, controlling standards, and evaluating results while controlling engineering costs.
