    Commercial Construction Laborer Suntec's Construction Laborers support teams of Foremen, Construction Carpenters, Form setters, Finishers, etc. Construction Laborers assist these teams in completing Suntec's variety of construction projects; which include high-rises, parking garages, stadiums, tilt-up warehouses, schools, etc. Suntec has the highest commitment to quality, and our workforce takes tremendous pride when looking at one of our completed projects. All field and project site positions are considered safety-sensitive positions. “Safety-sensitive” positions includes tasks or duties that the employer reasonably believes could cause an impairment or decrease job performance, and where the employee has the responsibility for his or her own safety and the safety of people around them. Primary Job Duties: Perform general construction labor, including job site clean-up. Set and strip wall forms and assist in pouring concrete. Move various construction materials, both by hand and utilizing various material transport mechanisms. Engage in preparation work to ready worksite for journeyman employees (carpenters, form setters, finishers, etc.) to perform defined tasks. Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, etc. Monitor processes, materials, and/or surroundings. Perform functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelines. Install post shores per instructions. Work with the concrete crew on and around concrete forms assisting with concrete pour & finish. Operate vibrator during concrete pours Work with buckets and pump truck to place concrete Clean, inspect and perform routine maintenance of equipment and tools Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools Clean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards Requirements: Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements Must be able to work safety in all surroundings, and with team members. Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position. Must be able to show up on time for Safety Pre-Task Planning. Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Must have excellent stamina. Ascend/Descend a ladders, scaffolding, or high structures. Move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Work safely and successfully as a team. Ability to understand and follow directions with moderate supervision. Must be able to remain in a stationary position Ability to communicate effectively

Job Summary Assists the Project Engineer with being the technical source of information for the project. Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals. This position includes three 'steps' (I, II and Senior), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Ensures the timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of meeting agendas, RFl's and daily reports. 2. Demonstrates an understanding of the project management plan (PMP) and is involved in support and execution of the plan. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process and performs project scope activities and supports the project team to ensure the work needed to complete the project successfully. 3. Ensures the administration of the project quality management plan and demonstrates and reinforces a culture of safety throughout the project. 4. Successful candidates will prepare detailed take-offs, solicit quotes, develop cost estimates, and close out bids. You will have the ability to collaborate as part of large pursuit teams and provide consistent results under pressure. The EI/EII provides support for single large projects or multiple smaller projects. Primary duties include participation in bid efforts, working with teams on Design Build and CM at Risk delivery methods, and providing administrative support to the estimating department. Key Responsibilities 1. Entry level exposure to construction software but strong computer skills including the ability to use spread sheets, bid management, and online plan rooms. 2. Estimator will develop skills in Agtek, On Screen Take-Off, and advance to beginning HCSS use. 3. Perform basic estimating functions and position is primarily quantity take-off and vendor solicitation. 4. Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site walks. 5. Support estimating efforts by take-off of work and self-perform estimates for work that is primarily subcontracted out. 6. Assist in obtaining firm quotes for material suppliers, equipment and subcontractors. 7. Draft scope/proposal letters for bid and negotiated projects. 8. At times, some field engineering duties such as submittals, RFIs, and assisting field operations with is required Minimum Job Requirements 1. Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. 2. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. 3. Provides leadership and guidance to assigned project team members and subcontractors. Plans, reviews, develops and manages the project team to ensure relentless execution of the project. 12.
