Ideate, develop, release, and maintain features across our core system.
Work directly with large data pools that power analysis, historical tracking, and client management.
Make key technical decisions in open forums, guiding the team toward maintainability and growth.
Handle migrations and refactors to stay up to date with modern tools and best practices.
Own integrations with external services and middleware for data ingest, processing, and automation.
Improve observability, performance, and technical mapping across the platform.
Take initiative on everything from quick bug fixes to major re-architecture efforts.
Use your expertise to empower teammates and refine development practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, communicating clearly about trade-offs and solutions.
Enhance productivity with AI-assisted tools such as JetBrains, Cursor, Claude Code, and CodeRabbit.
Stay current with the latest frameworks, design patterns, and development practices.

Spitzer, a recognized industry leader in designing and fabricating high-specification equipment, is currently seeking Structural Welders to join our team.
What Does a Week in the Life of the Structural Welder Look Like?
Uses overhead cranes, jib cranes and other lifting/rigging devices to move components in a safe manner is a plus.
Practices good housekeeping skills and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies.
Other duties as assigned by the Foreman.
Must be able to pass a 3G weld test using MIG and FCAW (1/16 wire)
Familiarity with AWS welding codes and standards
Proficient with grinders, torches, and basic fabrication tools
Ability to lift 50lbs and work in standing
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
Set up and operate welding equipment, including wire feeders and welders
Inspect finished welds for quality and conformance to specifications
Grind, cut and prep materials as needed
Works productively with others to help determine best solutions.
Understand and follow safety policies and procedures of the shop.
Conforms to shop quality practices and procedures.
Perform 3G structural welds using MIG and Fluxcore (FCAW-G, 1/16” wire) on steel structures and components.
Must be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards of professional and technical associations.
Skills (to Pay the Bills)
Here's a list of a few competencies that the Structural Welder at Spitzer should have…
Ability to follow shop procedures, quality procedures and safely practices.
Must be have verbal skills with fluency for the responsibilities assigned.
High School Diploma or its equivalent, and/or Trade School.
Minimum two to four years of experience in welding fabrication of structural steel and verified structural weld test and/or demonstrated ability to perform basic skills according to testing requirements.
Must be able to read and follow welding procedures.
Must be able to perform 3G weld test.

Work Schedule

POSITION OVERVIEW:
SunWorks is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our operations leadership development program. Our program places you in the center of branch operations, where you will get immediate exposure to all business functions, including sales, operations management, and financial analysis, while gaining a strong understanding of the landscaping industry. This program is a 6 month rotation across our enhancement, irrigation, agronomy, and arbor departments, and trains participants for a management role at the company. The SunWorks MDP track prepares you to lead through valuable hands-on experience within various functions in our organization including operations, project finance, and client relationship management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shadow SunWorks area and production managers to develop skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments and formal training
Build and nurture strong client relationships by fostering proactive communication.
Deliver excellent customer service by educating clients on horticultural best practices, providing recommendations for property enhancements, and correcting problems proactively
Assist with leading a team of 12-25 employees organized into 3-5 landscape maintenance crews.
Assist with manage daily operations to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Collaborate with the company's enhancement, irrigation, agronomy, and arbor care divisions to ensure seamless execution of all services provided to the customers in your portfolio
Participating in SunWorks organized training sessions to develop industry and company knowledge, and develop professional relationships with high level leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
Majors: Agriculture, Horticulture, or Landscape Design/Architecture preferred but not required
0-1 years of experience in operations, business development, or field management
Excellent communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Positive, can-do attitude
Conversational Spanish language proficiency a plus.
