The Office of Counseling and Psychological Wellness Services at SUNY Old Westbury is seeking a Senior Counselor.
The Office of Counseling and Psychological Wellness Services is a multidisciplinary team, dedicated to the support and enhancement of the psychological health and wellbeing, personal growth and development of SUNY Old Westbury's students. The Senior Counselor is expected to have a demonstrated experience and skill in the treatment of clients who identify as a part of an underrepresented group and in related issues of equity and social justice. This is a full-time, twelve (12) month position.
The Senior Counselor will:
* Provide psychological services to students on both a regular and emergency basis, and when necessary, during non-traditional hours.
* Services include, but are not limited to, individual treatment, couple treatment, group treatment, crisis-intervention, triage, workshops, clinical consultation, and case management.
* Initiate and take part in outreach services to the campus community, including collaboration and liaison to other college stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:
* A terminal degree in a therapeutic profession program (Doctoral degree from a clinical or counseling psychology program, or Master's level degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another educational program directed toward the education of licensed mental health professionals).
* A licensure or a temporary permit to practice as a mental health professional in New York State.
* A passion for working with students from underrepresented groups and diverse backgrounds.
* A broad "generalist" competence and experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of disorders and life problems for students in underrepresented groups and diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to manage a large caseload.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Benefits and Leave Administration, the Benefits Reconciliation Associate processes payments, reconciles expenses, invoices and payroll data, and generates reports to support department operations and accurate benefits administration. Responsibilities

The Kitchen Worker provides operational support for a high-volume operation while ensuring

Position Responsibilities:
● As directed by the management team, complete tasks that contribute to the Dining
Services daily operation.

Position Summary
Vassar College is seeking a full-time Admission Counselor/Assistant Director of Admission. Exact title and salary will be commensurate with the level of experience of the successful candidate.
The admission officer will join a creative and inclusive team responsible for representing Vassar and participating in the selection of candidates for the entering class. The Smart Scholars Program (SSP) at Farmingdale State College supports high school students from two Long Island school districts (Wyandanch and Brentwood) and is designed to provide underrepresented students with the unique opportunity to take credit bearing college courses from Farmingdale State College at no cost. In addition, special programs are offered to expose students to a variety of college campuses and local industries, businesses, and/or labs to further pique their interest and motivation for higher education.
The Smart Scholars Student Support Specialist will report to the Director of the Smart Scholars Program, who manages two grant-funded programs designed to support the College's mission to promote access and support academic excellence. Collectively, these programs serve over 250 students from local partner school districts. Farmingdale State College (FSC) has a long-standing history of dedicated service toward the mission of providing at-risk students with the opportunity for access to college through comprehensive transition and support program services. In addition to taking credit bearing college courses at FSC or satellite locations, our students have the opportunity to receive academic support for high school coursework and testing, participate in a myriad of activities intended to strengthen their interest in and pursuit of higher education, and explore career options. Such activities include college tours, site visits to various businesses and educational facilities and special events/workshops.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Assist with visits to partner schools, and supervise and track student participation, including weekends (Saturday classes and workshops; promotional events) and after school.
* Conduct workshops, meetings, and support sessions to facilitate student college and career readiness and student success.
* Evaluate student outcomes and assist with identifying students' needs and interventions, and facilitate workshops, counseling meetings, and events focused on student achievement and college and career readiness.
* Assist with the coordination and chaperoning of student field trips, workshops, enrichment activities, events etc.
* Communicate with students, parents, and other stakeholders regularly regarding program information, activities, and events, and update student contact information as needed.
* Participate in program promotional events and work to recruit and retain students.
This position is part-time, hourly. The selected candidate may work up to 25 hours per week, including Saturdays.

As the College embarks on a strategic initiative to deepen its commitment to faculty scholarship and high-impact undergraduate research, it seeks an experienced and results-oriented leader to direct its central sponsored programs office. The Director will play a crucial role in developing the vision, infrastructure, and culture necessary to increase external funding substantially.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive partner to our faculty, helping them identify promising funding opportunities and develop compelling proposals. The Director will provide hands-on support throughout the grant lifecycle and serve as a key champion for scholarly and creative activities across campus. The Director will oversee all aspects of pre- and post-award administration, manage a small team of grant specialists, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service. This role is critical for scaling the University's capacity to secure and manage a larger and more complex portfolio of grants and contracts from federal, state, and industry partners. The successful candidate will be an expert in federal regulations and will work to foster a robust culture of compliance and research integrity. The Director reports to the Senior Vice President and Provost, and works closely with the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and implement a strategic plan for growing the College's portfolio of sponsored research and programs.
* Operational Management: Direct the day-to-day operations of the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), including supervising professional staff, managing the office budget, and optimizing workflows through the use of electronic research administration systems. Serves as SUNY Research Foundation Operations Manager on campus.
* Faculty Development & Support: Proactively identify and disseminate funding opportunities from federal, state, foundation, and corporate sources (e.g., NSF, NIH, private foundations) that align with faculty expertise.
* Pre-Award Services: Lead team to provide expert guidance and assistance to faculty and staff in all aspects of proposal development. Provide final institutional review and approval for all external grant and grant-related contract applications.
* Post-Award and Financial Management: Provide comprehensive oversight of post-award functions, including award negotiation and acceptance, subcontracting, financial reporting, effort certification, and award closeout. Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance).
* Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the President, Provost, and academic deans to identify and prioritize strategic funding opportunities. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with federal program officers, foundation representatives, and industry partners. Works closely with legal advisors, including SUNY Research Foundation Central Office, on issues and opportunities, including technology transfer, collaborative research agreements, and program audits.
* Compliance & Training: Coordinates with SUNY Research Foundation in assuring all mandated procedures and policies are followed. Develop and deliver workshops and training for faculty on grant writing and research ethics, academic misconduct, pre-award budgeting, etc.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in sponsored research administration in a university setting.
* Demonstrated success in assisting faculty with securing external funding.
* Broad knowledge of major funding sources, including federal agencies (especially NSF and NEH) and private foundations.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a strong customer-service orientation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Terminal degree (PhD, JD, etc.).
* Certified Research Administrator (CRA) designation.
* Supervisory experience.
* Experience implementing or managing electronic research administration (eRA) software (e.g., Cayuse, Kuali).
