Job Description
The Cleveland Museum of Art has 2nd and 3rd position available for a Facility Technician. The Facility Technicians provide routine and advanced operating and maintenance support to all building mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, automation, lighting, snow melt and ancillary systems.
Must be able to work weekends.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school specializing in HVAC and one to two years of related experience/training. Previous experience in all aspects of HVAC and building maintenance required, as well as prior knowledge of plumbing, pipe-fitting, refrigeration, and steam technology. Previous experience with digital sling, fire equipment, saws, torches, electric meters, air monitors, circuit tracers, manual and hydraulic lifts, and assorted hand tools. Self-starter. Must possess strong team orientation and substantial leadership skills. Computer literate. Previous experience with Siemens or similar building automation system extremely desirable. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. or more. Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Job Description:
1. Assists the Transplant Coordinator in handling non-nursing functions for listed patients.
2. Helps to keep the listed patient information current so that the patient is more prepared for transplantation when an appropriate organ is available.
3. Maintains organization of the incoming referrals for transplant and ensuring follow up on processing of the referral from insurance confirmation through evaluation in the transplant clinic.
4. Assists with the cardiology referral process, scheduling of testing and cardiology evaluation as well as the follow up needed to expedite patients obtaining cardiology clearance to increase overall patients on the waiting list.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
* High School Diploma or GED required. College coursework is preferred.
* Medical Assisting Diploma, Degree, or Certificate is preferred. May consider other medical certificates in a related field if combined with a CMA/RMA certification.
* Medical Assistant credentialing within 120 calendar days of hire is required. Exceptions may be considered due to the timing of testing or other unforeseen circumstances.
* American Heart Association Heart saver CPR certification is required. Will accept American Red Cross "Adult & Pediatric CPR" at time of hire only. Certification must be active at time of hire and maintained throughout employment in position.
Communication and other skills:
* Must be proficient with data entry, Excel or database spreadsheets, and word processing software
* Demonstrates ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
* Exhibits accuracy, integrity, and flexibility; is punctual and dependable
* Adheres to the UTMC Customer service values; demonstrates outstanding telephone etiquette; culturally appropriate communication skill required

Job Description:
MLS Assistant works under supervision of a Laboratory Sr.Technologist IV in the analysis of human blood, tissues, and body fluids. They assist in the performance of medical laboratory tests using a wide variety of precision instruments and manual methods. They correlate test results, and report results with respect to normal or abnormal ranges.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years of college with a Biology or Chemistry major.
2. Must be currently enrolled in a NCCLS approved MLS program.
