Major Responsibilities
* Fulfillment of all responsibilities/duties of a supervisor as outlined in the Student Teaching Handbook, department orientation, training and university communications.
* Contact and meet with student teachers and host teachers either before or at the beginning of the student teaching placement.
* Make regular visits, including written observation reports, and confer with each student teacher after observations.
* Confer with each student teacher after each observation and provide both oral and written feedback during the post-observation conference.
* Maintain regular communication with each host teacher regarding the progress of student teachers.
* Complete evaluation work in Watermark and submit quarterly grades for student teachers.
Functional and Supervisory Relationships
Reports to the Department Chair and the Coordinator for Adolescence Education Science.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelors degree.
* Availability to fulfill job obligations during standard school hours (applicants with concurrent full-time commitments, including P-12 school personnel, are not eligible for the position of a SUNY Cortland student teaching supervisor).
* Experience in secondary school settings.
* Familiarity with New York State Teacher Certification requirements and learning standards.
* Masters degree, previous mentoring, or supervisory experience.
* Current or past teacher certification in Science.

Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB) Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Oishei Children's Hospital, and UBMD Pediatrics is actively recruiting for a full-time pediatric physician in the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition. Under the leadership of Dr. Osama Almadhoun, Division Chief, the practice has an entire support group that cares for outpatients and inpatients, with a very active procedural area including endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and impedance pH probes. This program represents an important strategic component for the division and is one of the few Pediatric Gastroenterology practices in the Western New York area.
Responsibilities include the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal, nutritional, hepatic and pancreatic diseases in children from birth through young adulthood in Western New York, the Southern Tier and Northern Pennsylvania. The division is actively involved in the education of both residents and medical students, including lectures and teaching in the inpatient and the outpatient settings.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience in clinical medicine with specific expertise in the care of pediatric patients with all GI diagnoses including liver disease. Evidence of productive clinical or basic research will strongly support any candidate for the position.
UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians' Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 17 pediatric subspecialties. The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) Department of Pharmacy Practice, Division of Outcomes and Practice Advancement is seeking a clinical-track (qualified rank), 12-month faculty member at the assistant or associate professor rank, with expertise in hospital/health-system pharmacy and inpatient acute care pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
Teaching:
The faculty member will be expected to coordinate and teach content in their area of expertise. The faculty member will be expected to maintain a shared clinical practice site in adult inpatient patient care, where they will train IPPE students, APPE students, and postgraduate residents/fellows. It is estimated that didactic teaching and experiential education will both represent 30-40% of the faculty member's effort distribution.
Research/Scholarship:
The faculty member will advance the research mission of the UB SPPS. Service:

Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB), and the Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo as of January 2026, is recruiting for a full-time Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes. The ideal candidate will hold a medical degree and be board certified in pediatrics and board certified/board eligible in pediatric endocrinology.
The candidate will provide clinical care for children and young adults with endocrine disorders and diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2). This position includes inpatient clinical duties, and outpatient care in our newly remodeled dedicated outpatient center as well as satellite clinics in the Western New York region. Additionally, you will contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows through didactic teaching, clinical supervision, and mentorship. Interest in quality improvement and clinical research is encouraged.
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology/Diabetes is a busy practice with 5 BC Pediatric Endocrinologists and an ACGME accredited fellowship program. The division sees approximately 8,000 patients per year. Our division is recognized for a strong clinical research program.
UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians' Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 17 pediatric subspecialties. The NYU School of Professional Studies seeks a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Financial Planning and Chair of the Finance and Taxation Department of the Division of Programs in Business.
The Chair will oversee the Finance and Taxation department and will participate in setting the strategic direction for the vertical and coordinate graduate and continuing education portfolios. This includes establishing academic partnerships with external stakeholders, overseeing a portfolio of tax conferences and events that include industry professionals to enhance student learning and/or career opportunities, participating in fundraising efforts and securing scholarships. Additionally, the Chair will teach within the Financial Planning graduate program.
Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Division of Programs in Business, the Chair will collaborate with the Assistant Dean; supervise the faculty and administrative teams of the department; and oversee all administration of departmental academic operations including course scheduling and syllabi management.
This full-time position is a nine-month appointment with a two-year renewable faculty contract; the Chair role is an annual, twelve-month administrative appointment that runs concurrent with the faculty role. The rank of the position is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base faculty salary range for this position is $100,000-$160,000. The range for the annual administrative stipend is $20,000-$40,000. The Department of Psychology within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Albany invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Lecturer (10 Months) to teach within our online undergraduate Psychology degree program. The position will begin before January 21, 2026 (the first day of spring semester classes) for a one-year term appointment with the potential for renewal.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching three online courses per semester (six courses per academic year), developing and delivering online course materials, contributing to the program's curriculum, mentoring and advising students, and enhancing student engagement in a virtual environment. Additionally, the candidate will participate in service at the departmental, college, and university levels. This position may include instruction in both introductory and advanced courses. The ability to teach courses in statistics and research methods is especially desirable.
Candidates must have a graduate degree in Psychology, extensive experience in online teaching, and a demonstrated appreciation for research. The ideal candidate will have experience with innovative online instructional strategies and certification in online instruction.
The Department of Psychology offers Bachelor's, Master's, PhD degrees with concentrations in Behavioral Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. The University at Albany also has a vibrant community of faculty across various departments and offers a collaborative and supportive environment.

Major Responsibilities
A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4000 per class. The department typically hires for introductory physics lectures and labs.
Functional and Supervisory Relationships
Reports to the Physics Department chair and works in collaboration with other faculty members.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in physics or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience in higher education.
