Preferred candidates will demonstrate a capacity to integrate cutting-edge computational approaches with biomedical science to address urgent challenges in pathogen biology, antimicrobial resistance, outbreak dynamics, and the development of novel diagnostics and therapeutics. The candidate will join an expanding group of computational researchers as part of UAlbany's new AI Initiative. The College of Integrated Health Sciences is a joint venture between the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the University at Albany. The department's partnership with investigators at the Wadsworth Center, the public health laboratory of the NYSDOH, provides an extraordinary opportunity for collaborative research on the frontlines of human health. Faculty benefit from access to world-class resources, including advanced genomics, imaging and structural biology facilities, and state-of-the-art laboratories. Faculty additionally have access to high-performance computing, including a new AI supercomputer powered by 24 NVIDIA DGX systems. This integration of academic-public health research offers a unique environment for translating fundamental discoveries into meaningful advances for human health.
This position is intended to strengthen the University at Albany's leadership in computational biomedical sciences by recruiting a faculty member whose work bridges artificial intelligence innovation and infectious disease research. The AssistantProfessor will advance innovation by developing an externally funded research program applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to infectious disease biology and public health challenges; foster collaboration building interdisciplinary projects across the University and with the NYSDOH, linking computational discoveries to public health outcomes; educate and mentor by teaching in biomedical sciences and computational biology, and mentoring a diverse group of students and trainees to become future leaders in the field; enhance impact by contributing to the University at Albany's mission of advancing scientific discovery and innovation through the use of artificial intelligence while preparing the next generation to address global biomedical challenges.

Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB) Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Oishei Children's Hospital, and UBMD Pediatrics is actively recruiting for a full-time pediatric physician in the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition. Under the leadership of Dr. Osama Almadhoun, Division Chief, the practice has an entire support group that cares for outpatients and inpatients, with a very active procedural area including endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and impedance pH probes. This program represents an important strategic component for the division and is one of the few Pediatric Gastroenterology practices in the Western New York area.
Responsibilities include the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal, nutritional, hepatic and pancreatic diseases in children from birth through young adulthood in Western New York, the Southern Tier and Northern Pennsylvania. The division is actively involved in the education of both residents and medical students, including lectures and teaching in the inpatient and the outpatient settings.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience in clinical medicine with specific expertise in the care of pediatric patients with all GI diagnoses including liver disease. Evidence of productive clinical or basic research will strongly support any candidate for the position.
UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians' Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 17 pediatric subspecialties. Our physicians make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo and at Oishei Children's Hospital. Research/Scholarship:
The faculty member will advance the research mission of the UB SPPS. They will engage in collaborative research while developing an independent research program in their area of expertise and will publish/present their work nationally/internationally. It is estimated that research/scholarship will represent 20% of the faculty member's effort distribution.
Service:
The faculty member will serve the Department, School, and University as agreed to with the Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Division Head for Outcomes and Practice Advancement. This will include, but is not limited to, active participation on committees, PharmD student admissions reviews/interviews, student advising, and mentoring of postgraduate residents and fellows. It is estimated that service will represent 10% of the faculty member's effort distribution.

SUNY Cortland offers the largest and oldest sport management program in the SUNY system. The department's mission focuses on high-impact practices and career-driven outcomes for students. Clinical faculty supervise practicum experiences for Nazareth undergraduate and graduate students assigned to the on-campus Speech-Language Clinic and to community-based outreach programs operated by the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). Clinical education is provided in accordance with ASHA standards and includes direct supervision of both therapy and diagnostic services. Responsibilities include coordination and collaboration with students, clients, and families within clinical settings, as well as participation in interprofessional teams across other Nazareth clinics and community-based sites. In addition to clinical education responsibilities, clinical faculty are assigned undergraduate or graduate teaching duties aligned with their credentials, clinical expertise, and qualifications.

The Nazareth CSD Department comprises undergraduate and graduate programs, with graduate specialties in autism, deafness, early intervention, bilingual, and medical speech-language pathology. The department has 200+ students (85 graduate students) and 11 FT faculty. Interprofessional collaboration and education are hallmarks of Nazareth University. The Communication Disorders and Sciences Department at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications for a 12-month full-time Lecturer I position with responsibilities to include clinical supervision and teaching academic coursework during summer session and as needed. Salary Range: $67,000 + depending on experience (DOE)

Major Responsibilities
* Clinical supervision of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in on- and off-campus clinical practicum. Clinical experiences include screenings, diagnostics, and therapy.
* Demonstrate a broad range of clinical experiences across the lifespan.
* Assessment and intervention experiences should include but are not limited to the following: AAC, autism, voice, fluency, aphasia, adult communication disorders, early childhood and school-age speech and language disorders.
* Demonstrate strong clinical writing skills.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills with students, clients, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
* Demonstrate commitment to promoting a diverse academic environment consistent with university mission, vision, values and campus priorities.
* Teach academic coursework in the Department in summer session and as needed.
Functional and Supervisory Relationships
* Works under the direct supervision of the Department Chair and Clinic Director.
* Works closely with faculty and staff within the department.
* Additional working relationships with faculty and staff in other college departments when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent.
* American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
* New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
* At least three years clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
* At least 2 CEUs in Supervision prior to start date.
