Superfeet Worldwide company history timeline

1977

Superfeet, which started in 1977 as an arm of a local podiatry office, has used the company's intense focus on shape to really improve specificity, whether inside Olympic snowboarding boots, NHL hockey skates, NFL cleats or runners the world over.

1980

1980 – The first trim to fit insole is launched aimed at runners

1982

It wasn’t until 1982 when an engineering-minded man named Johnny Walker translated the Superfeet designs into a distinct shape that could be mass-produced.

1985

And by 1985, the company was established with a storefront in Canada (one in Vancouver and one in Whistler, B.C.) where they sold their SUperfeet insoles and orthotics.

1986

1986 – Superfeet start focusing on the medical market

1987

By 1987, Superfeet had to add a customer service department, and focus on shipping efficiency.

1990

Soon in 1990, Superfeet asked Scott Doner to lend his expertise to the company and make them grow from small to large.

1993

In 1993, the market of orthotics insoles and shoe inserts say the Superfeet Company take a big risk and release the Trim-to-Fit Program.

2001

2001 – Superfeet introduced footnotes for dress shoes and trainers

2005

By 2005, a new Superfeet President named Bill McClean led the company.

2008

2008 – Outside magazine ranks Superfeet as one of the best places to work in the US

2012

And in 2012, Superfeet set up a subsidiary in Edinburgh, Scotland.

2013

A new President in the year 2013, JohnRauvola begain initiating a whole new look to the insoles and products.

2013 – Carbon arrives at Superfeet making Superfeet stronger and more lightweight than ever before.

2021

The Adapt family is the newest addition to Superfeet, launched in late 2021 with Adapt Run offering more flex than other Superfeet insoles.

2022

And expect to see a new ME3D product getting added in 2022, allowing Superfeet to reach an even greater audience now that the program has a solid foundation.
