Eastern Exterior Wall Systems (EEWS) designs, fabricates, and installs exterior walls on buildings throughout the Middle-Atlantic Region. EEWS is one of two operating construction companies owned by Marcon Enterprises, a third-generation family owned and operated holding company, based in Allentown, PA. Effective January 2025, EEWS employees work out of a new plant in Allentown, PA. This position offers hybrid work.
PROJECT MANAGER POSITION
The position is responsible for the successful management and completion of all assigned projects. The
position includes the effective management of field superintendents, other designated support staff as may be assigned, internal peer groups, and all subcontractors and vendors.
At all times professionally represent the Company to our clients and design/construction
teams while conducting our obligations under the terms of our contracts. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining standard logs and integrating the construction management process into EEWS's operating systems and procedures.
The Project Manager reports directly to assigned Senior Management. Due to continued business growth, we seek to fill this position immediately.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
Plan, schedule, and lead the execution of the project in adherence to contractual requirements and high-quality standards. Provide material, schedule, and plans to field personnel as required. Prepare monthly analysis/report of actual project performance as measured against budget, schedule, and contract requirements.
Prepare and manage job budgets including comprehensive estimate of labor, material, equipment, and travel. Assure the budgets are adhered to during project execution. Utilize good negotiating skills to procure material and subcontractors, as required.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Price, submit and negotiate change orders with customers and subcontractors. Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment. Assure timely payment from customers.
Accurately produce quantity take-offs and surveys of exterior wall systems.
Prepare and make submittals as required by the contract.
Walk jobsites regularly and attend job meetings.
Track the development and coordination of key design details.
Track long-lead schedule-critical materials and supply chain.
Team Coordination
Lead weekly internal team meetings consisting of design, engineering, and manufacturing personnel to effectively manage the delivery of EEWS designs.
Assure accurate and timely completion through collaborative interaction with the design / engineering group. Frequently review EEWS shop drawings for conformance to plan. (Design / engineering personnel are not direct reports.)
Participate in external project BIM meetings with the expanded project teams - architect, construction manager, and wall consultants to ensure EEWS plans are implemented.
Manage the delivery of EEWS products to ensure accurate and timely completion through collaborative interaction with the manufacturing group. Frequently visit EEWS production facility to ensure conformance to plan. (Manufacturing personnel are not direct reports.)
Oversee and manage the installation of EEWS products to ensure accurate and timely completion.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three years of direct construction project management experience required.
Knowledge of how building structures and exterior skins are assembled is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction technology or equivalent experience required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in CAD and REVIT is desirable, but not mandatory.
Excellent people skills and enjoy collaborating with people.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be willing to travel and feel comfortable walking construction sites and interacting with construction personnel.
Able to represent the Company professionally, ethically, and accurately.

A Superintendent is responsible for ensuring jobs in the field are performed efficiently, safely, and in a quality manner. The Superintendent is the primary contact for Foremen and will direct the Field Foremen as needed regarding site related activities.
The Field Superintendent will work with the Lead Superintendent and Project Managers to achieve these goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure jobs are being executed in an efficient manner and that the Field Foreman has all the resources needed to achieve the goal of completing the job on time and under budget.
Responsible for communicating to Operations and Project Managers any problems with field work and with assisting in resolving those problems.
Communicate with Operations regarding job schedules and performance issues that may arise.
Ensure all HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed.
Perform a minimum of 12 jobsite safety inspections per year and document as required per the safety manual.
Responsible for assisting with the maintenance of HMT-owned equipment as needed. Communicate with Operations regarding equipment problems.
Assist the Project Manager in identifying scope of work changes.
Coordinate communication among your team members, the customer, and subcontractors as needed.

Ensure that all QA/QC policies and procedures are being followed.
Assist with the training of employees as needed.
Assume the site related project duties of Field Foreman when they are scheduled for vacation or take personal time away from the job.
Responsible for the training of crew members in the art of tank building. Train prospective employees to become Field Foreman and assist with the HMT Mentoring Program including documentation.
Leverage existing relationships to mitigate issues at site and secure new opportunities.
The Field Superintendent will also assist with performing general office work as required by the Area or Regional Manager to help ensure a profitable and well-run area and/or regional office.
The Field Superintendent should be aware HMT has a comprehensive drug and alcohol policy and program in place, including random testing.

High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years+ experience as a field foreman in the AST (Above Ground Storage Tank industry)
Must have a minimum of 2 years of Foreman experience

About Your Opportunity As a Superintendent at Wohlsen Construction, you will manage all field staff, subcontractors and vendors. You will oversee all activities to successfully complete a single project of varying complexity. You will work with the Project Team to produce a quality project on time and within a project budget. How You'll Contribute:
You will provide guidance, leadership for other superintendents, assistant superintendents, project engineers and other subordinate site staff.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Technology, Engineering or other related discipline or equivalent field experience.
A minimum of 7 years of field construction experience in a supervisory capacity on projects ranging from $5 to $10 million
Ability to read and understand contract drawings and specifications
A demonstrated attainment of Superintendent I position standards
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to perform work at elevations above ground level.

The Superintendent serves as the go-between the employees (or 3rd party installer) on the job site and the staff assigned to manage each project. The Superintendent is expected to serve as the main point of contact for job-site operations and notify management if anything occurs that was not planned for out of the normal. Site Superintendent (Multi-Location)
Superintendent job in Quakertown, PA
Our traveling locations are generally in the Washington DC, Philadelphia, NYC, and Northern NY regions. With some of our larger portion of our work is in VA at the moment. Second to that is Northern NJ. The Regional Superintendent is expected to direct, supervise and troubleshoot issues that arise on the job site. The Superintendent serves as the go-between the employees (or 3rd party installer) on the job site and the staff assigned to manage each project. The Superintendent is expected to serve as the main point of contact for job-site operations and notify management if anything occurs that was not planned for out of the normal. They are also responsible for coordinating on site activities with the client and other trades.
Primary Duties (Oversight of 3rd party installers)
Management of Job Site
Act as primary site contact with client. Build and maintain a good rapport with GC and/or Customer.
Oversee and ensure 3rd party installer is meeting schedule, sequence, quality.
Ensure that work is completed in the correct sequence unless approved by the Project Manager.
Maintain awareness of pending items (unapproved change orders/quoted work).
Ensure workers performing tasks are not exposed to danger from other trades.
Participate in coordination meetings to achieve project goals within our contractual commitments. This includes coordination with GC and other trades.
Coordinate with Project Manager for scheduling of trailer deliveries
Maintain working knowledge of contract/change orders/job specifications/submittals on each job site assigned. Ensure we are working within both.
Coordinate with PM if additional work is required. Approval from client and alignment with 3rd party installer is required before proceeding.
Ensure all materials are stacked, orderly, and staged properly and the correct equipment needed is on site.
Work with 3rd party installer on corrective actions and/ or ways to improve performance. Include supervisor when guidance is needed.
Develop crane and rigging plans with the PM or evaluate installers plan.
Oversee and adjust crane scheduling, logistics, placement and rigging for safety and efficiency.
Documentation
Ensure that current drawing set on site and in good condition.
Ensure that all changes/sketches/RFIs etc. are easily accessed and are inserted in drawings.
Keep a running list of open items available on the site and reported to the PM.
Maintain current project schedule and identify shortfalls.
Record all ticket work in a timely fashion.
Two-week look ahead completed correctly and submitted every Friday.
Safety
Reports and documents injury and/or incident reports correctly and accurately.
Performs follow up meeting/report after any safety incident.
Ensure crew members are wearing the proper PPE at all times.
Ensure proper safety measures are in place for the work being performed
Maintain working knowledge of Klover's Safety policy.
Understanding and implementation of OSHA standards.
Corrects subcontract installer or employees not following safety policies.
Identifies safety hazards and implements measures to correct them.
Performs inspections daily on safety equipment - has crew do same.
Secondary Duties (Oversight of self-perform installs)
Management of Field Carpenters
Check all deliveries for accuracy and ensure pick tickets are sent to PM dept.
Ensure that trash receptacles are in the proper place and are emptied daily.
Ensure the proper storage and organization of fasteners and job tools.
Ensure that equipment not being used is called off/removed from site.
Ensure workers are adhering to start/stop times.
Assists in managing the job budget and addresses areas of where attention is needed.
Effectively manages available manpower to maximize productivity.
Orders materials for job sites using a LEAN mentality.
Limits waste and unnecessary costs to the company.
Ensure that proper manpower is assigned accordingly to meet production goals.
Ensure that all appropriate signs/caution tape are in place.
Coordinates work with other trades working on the project.
Creates and implements plan to work in inclement weather conditions where applicable.
Work with crew members putting work in place when supervision is not needed.
Print table is stocked with proper forms and organized.
Complete and place material orders 3-4 days prior to need.
Scheduling of manpower at 2 PM daily to ensure proper coverage.
Develop crane and rigging plans with the PM or evaluate installers plan.
Oversee and adjust crane scheduling, logistics, placement and rigging for safety and efficiency.
Documentation
Maintaining the daily log of manpower/schedule impacts/wok performed/constraints.
Ensures the site leader checklist is completed and followed daily.
Completion of Daily Field Reports and submitted to PM department by 9 AM the next day.
Completion of subcontractor labor sheets and submitted daily.
Accurate completion of material order forms.
Training
Ensure that site leader has proper training.
Ensure workers follow the 10 commandments.
Coaches and trains new field carpenters the Klover way.
Effectively tasks/mentors assigned apprentice.
Tool and Equipment Management
Utilizes the red tool tagging policy.
Maintain working knowledge of tools and perform quick repairs.
Ensures that self and other field members treat company issued tools/equipment properly.
Operation of any tools/equipment on site.
Tests lasers for accuracy.
Qualifications / Key Competencies of Supervisor
Leads by example - first on site/last one to leave.
Must be able to lead staff through standard daily tasks as well as deal with difficult situations as they arise and work towards positive resolution.
Maintains a clear understanding of Klover's Company policies and can direct others' inquiries properly.
Recognizes and resolves disputes among workers.
Performs appropriate conflict management and reports complaints to applicable departments.
Manages worker time off requested and limits unscheduled call outs.
