Prior experience as a traveling superintendent on commercial construction projects is mandatory. PKC pays lodging, per diem, and reimburses mileage from home to job, job to job, and job to home. PKC does not provide company vehicles. Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of onsite building construction, tenant finish and/or remodel from pre-construction to completion and closeout. Manage and maintain excellent relationships with all sub-contractors, material suppliers, and Owners Representatives. Daily reporting, and photographs as well as jobsite safety meetings. Must demonstrate understanding of site logistics, planning, and communication. Proficient at reading and comprehending construction plans, specifications, contracts, purchase agreements and project scope documents. Provide updated schedules as requested. Actively participate and contribute to weekly Owner, Architect and Contractor (OAC) meetings. Monitor material delivery schedules. Maintain, track, and report productivity and work interfaces. Complete and maintain proper documentation accurately and timely including daily reports, photos, as built plans. Monitor, coordinate and review, RFI logs, submittal logs and shop drawings, on site. Review construction documents for completeness and constructability. Identify plan and spec discrepancies. Responsible for the safety of the site and all workers as well as overall quality of project. Responsible for mentoring and managing team members, and oversight of time management. Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction technology, methods, quality control, scheduling and safety. Excellent communication, organization, and supervisory skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw solid conclusions. Ability to travel within the lower 48 states. More than 5 Years of experience as a traveling Commercial Construction Jobsite Superintendent. Ability to pass a background check. OSHA 10 and \ or OSHA 30 are a plus.
