It is the responsibility of a Construction Manager (CM) to supervise and coordinate multiple projects to ensure on-time completion, while maintaining budget requirements and a high level of quality. The CM will serve as the Owner's representative on a variety of projects including ground-up new construction, renovations, capital improvements and tenant improvement projects. In the performance of this role, the CM is responsible to protect and promote the interest of Noddle Companies, its clients and investment partners in all matters and take action to perform the following duties: PROJECT MANAGEMENT Assist in procurement of design, engineering and construction partners necessary to complete the projects. Communicate with general superintendents, management, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures and construction challenges. Direct and supervise workers and subcontractors. Interpret and explain plans and specifications to workers, subcontractors and clients. Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Coordinates subcontractors and crews. Schedule the project in logical steps to meet time line of critical path work. Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods. Inspect self-performed and subcontractor work for quality and correct construction methods (quality control). Site layout and use of layout instruments. Use of basic hand tools and basic power tools. UIC Construction, LLC is seeking a field superintendent with extensive vertical construction experience for remote Alaska construction projects. Site superintendent oversee all types of craft workers onsite on a fast paced construction project.
