About the Job
DACON Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent who is a strong communicator, advocate and organizer. They will be a leader of people and projects. Candidates should enjoy managing construction initiatives from inception to completion. Alongside the following work skills, we seek individuals who are adept in execution and are independent performers, yet can lead others to contribute their best work on behalf of the client. The Project Superintendent will:
Be responsible for managing the field construction team and all operations on site. This role delegates tasks, enforces standard operating procedures, resolves conflicts, and maintains site safety and OSHA compliance.
Create and manage documentation including the project schedule, Procore records, subcontractor scheduling and a daily log of activities.
Perform quality control supervision (including identifying non-compliance), coordinate inspections and communicate with project team regarding ASI's, RFI's and material submittals.
Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work, communicate with project team, perform job progress, punch list identification and completion.
Required Education and Experience
Current Massachusetts Contractors Supervisor License.
Ground-up and tenant improvement project experience on projects valued at $10M-$20M.
10+ years on-site construction experience.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting project drawings.
OSHA 30-hour certified.
Preferred Education and Experience
15+ years of experience in construction management for building construction.
Proven record of successful execution of $20M+ projects.
Experience with warehouses, cold storage, manufacturing, distribution, and/or life science construction.
Knowledge of principles of project management for building, engineering and architecture as related to design and construction.
Ability to use engineering instruments effectively.
Proficiency with Excel, MS Project and Procore.
First Aid/AED/CPR certified.
NFPA Hot Work Safety certified.
