Commercial Project Superintendents are responsible for the overall work performance of all crews and craft discipline workers on a job site. Oversees commercial Craft disciplines in Electrical and Instrumentation (cable tray, wire pulls, terminations, etc.) or for other Craft required as specified for the project or client needs. If Specialty Subcontractors are required for the execution of the work, then the Superintendent is a key coordinator for the Subcontractor's inter-woven activities at the work fronts. Responsibilities for this Superintendent position include, but not limited to, the following: Oversee all onsite activities from start to finish of project Responsible for overall Jobsite Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost, and Onsite personnel Manage direct hire employees on jobsite Manage subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of work Provide project management with weekly progress updates and reporting necessary to update schedules and tracking logs Order material and/or equipment as needed to effectively complete scope of work Facilitate and lead weekly subcontractor progress meetings Attend and represent Moore at weekly owner progress meetings Effectively review and interpret construction drawings and specifications Manage conflict resolution with subcontractors, vendors, and client in a professional manner Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a lead project superintendent in the industrial and/or commercial market Must have intermediate to strong computer skills Must possess strong leadership, management, and communication skills Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to maintain a healthy working relationship with a diverse group of individuals Hold active TWIC credential Must pass a background check and drug screen Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred but not required. Job DescriptionProject Superintendent - Heavy Civil & Mission Critical Projects Company: Gregory Construction Gregory Construction, a Christian-principled, industry-recognized provider of construction services, is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent (PS) to lead field operations on complex heavy civil and mission critical projects. The PS is responsible for overseeing all onsite activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Gregory's high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage onsite construction operations, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and resources. Enforce site-specific safety plans in partnership with the Safety Department. Maintain construction schedules and manpower planning in coordination with Project Managers. Monitor productivity, quality control, and job site logistics daily. Review field documentation, including change orders, T&M tickets, and production reports. Serve as the primary field contact with clients, engineers, and inspectors. Qualifications: 7+ years supervisory experience in heavy civil construction (mission critical project experience preferred). High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. OSHA 30 certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, etc.). Strong technical knowledge of sitework, utilities, grading, paving, and equipment coordination. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
