Job Duties
Full understanding of project schedule/milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings) and in-house shop drawings; and would also be able to utilize these documents to coordinate work on site with other trades
Complete required paperwork and diligently process daily reports, next week plans, accident reports, disciplinary reports
Run and manage large scale commercial plumbing construction projects and oversee multiple jobsites simultaneously
Proven experience managing multiple crews from Foreman level personnel to Apprentices
Proven ability to coordinate with other trades to complete plumbing scope of work within project schedule
Capable of making prudent monetary decisions on behalf of the company up to $5K
Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment on their job sites
Proven ability to plan ahead
Understands the flow of the project and can communicate with the operations or project manager on current or future labor needed on the job
Understanding /complies with the company tool policy and can pass these values to less experienced employees
Requirements
10+ years of experience running and managing commercial plumbing jobs
Master plumber license (Florida, Georgia or Alabama preferred)
Supervision of projects ranging from $1M - $5M in value
Experience overseeing job site personnel - foreman through apprentice
Experience completing required documentation electronically

Summary
The Superintendent plays a key leadership role in the daily operation of the job site for the National Building Group, a firm specializing in large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects such as distribution centers, tilt-up (tilt wall) structures, core/shell developments, and concrete cast-in-place construction. Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction, based on knowledge of available tools and equipment and various building methods.
Interacts with the Project Manager to determine the project schedule; develops and utilizes "look ahead" schedules to assess progress and spot upcoming issues.
Coordinates the pre-construction meeting with the Project Manager prior to mobilization.
Directs procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
