Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to clients' safety programs, training, and policies as well as collaborate with the project team to manage the Safety & Health performance of project team members, contractors, and others as required.
Collaborate with the Project Management team to build client relationships while interfacing with the client for proposal and project related items.
Assist in the development of internal and external project risk reviews with the Project Management team and consult with the Legal Department as required.
Coordinate and assist in the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Safety & Health Plan, Subcontracting Plan, Project Staffing Plan, Organization Chart, and Procurement Plan.
Contribute to the negotiation, approval and execution of multiple types of prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
Develop the project plan for site mobilization and demobilization and support the Construction Manager or Site Manager with implementation.
Secure applicable project permits required for the project.
Support development of and coordinate the potential bidders' registration and pre-qualification efforts on behalf of the Project team.
Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP), support detailed scope of work development, bid and selection process and creation of contract documents for the purpose of subcontractor and client contractor selection and award.
Support the implementation of multiple project specifications, drawing releases, and design changes.
Execute downstream contract administration, including Request for Information (RFI), submittals, meeting minutes, change management, and claims mitigation.
Support project cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structures, project set-up and closeout, and field progress tracking processes.
Prepare information for and report project status, risks, schedule, costs, and cash flows at project and corporate level meetings to internal and external stakeholders. Develop and distribute meeting minutes as needed.
Support the Prime Contract, subcontract, client contractor, and supplier invoicing process.
Establish, review and implement the project documentation and filing systems and processes.
Verify the project, client contractor, and/or subcontractor's insurance, licensures, taxes/duties, and securities are in effect according to the project requirements.
Support and conduct project safety, quality, progress and financial audits and assessments as required.
Facilitate the materials receiving and management process including inventory control, receiving of goods, storage, and transportation.
Collaborate with superintendents and site managers to verify compliance of subcontractors' and client contractors' contract documents, safety & health requirements, quality, and schedule.
Facilitate the project turnover documentation, recordkeeping/retention, warranty and project close out processes.
Assist with maintaining compliance on all project related activities by consistently applying company policies and procedures.
Assist with the development of project labor agreements with building trades as required.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
A minimum of 5 years relevant construction experience required.
OSHA 10-hour certification strongly preferred.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Key Functions
Coordinate with the Project Management team on engineering and procedural plans and suggest project enhancements/value engineering opportunities.

Key Responsibilities - Senior Project Superintendent
Monitor jobsite safety compliance and administer safety policies daily to maintain a zero-incident workplace
Direct short-term scheduling including manpower allocation, equipment deployment, and subcontractor coordination
Manage field documentation including daily reports, progress photographs, as-built drawings, and material inventory tracking
Coordinate permits, regulatory inspections, and ensure all work meets quality standards
Identify scope changes and communicate project status to Project Manager while maintaining budget and schedule targets
Qualifications - Senior Project Superintendent
Minimum 5+ years supervising water or wastewater construction projects with self-performing work experience required
Demonstrated experience with cast-in-place concrete, piping systems, and mechanical equipment installation
Current OSHA 10-hour certification, First Aid & CPR, SWPPP Inspector, silica awareness, Risk Management, and Accident Investigation training
Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel for project documentation and reporting
Proven history of completing multi-million dollar projects on time and within budget
Preferred Qualifications - Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent
OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification
Current Competent Person certifications in Trenching, Scaffolds, Rigging, Confined Space, and Fall Protection
Experience with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms)
Knowledge of contract documents, specifications, and construction drawings
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage craft labor and field teams

Daily presence at active construction jobsites in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
Ability to walk jobsites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain to inspect work quality and safety compliance

JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting Superintendents, Senior Superintendents, and Project Managers in all field-related activities associated with the successful completion of assigned projects, such as job site safety, cost, quality, communication with the architects and consultants, as well as the project schedule. They also work closely with management staff regarding all aspects of the project. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Orders materials and schedules inspections.
Develops and maintains positive and productive relationships with owners, customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, Project Team, and employees.
Provides administrative support for the Project Superintendent and leadership to project staff.
Coordinates, cooperates, and communicates with the Project Managers, Field Personnel, and Subcontractors.
Assists with completing and submitting schedule updates.
Arranges and secures permits with local cities as needed.

Tracks, reviews, and processes change order requests.

Firmo is seeking an experienced Superintendent with ground-up construction (hotel / multifamily) experience to join our team.
An integral member of our Construction team, this individual will be charged with managing active jobsites on ground-up commercial projects from start to finish, delivering a high-quality finished product for our clients. Key functions of this position include overseeing trade partners, ensuring compliance and safety, working closely with project management stakeholders, daily reporting, holding subcontractor meetings, and keeping projects on schedule and budget.

Role Requirements
Experience
10+ years of commercial construction experience, primarily ground-up for a General Contractor.
Hospitality construction experience preferred (3+ years).
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Proficient with construction management software and able to quickly learn new platforms.
Certifications & Credentials
OSHA 30 and CPR certified (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong professional references required.
Physical & Mobility Requirements
Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout active jobsites for extended periods.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
