For their responsibility as the NEMMI contract's Quality Assurance compliance officer, they will need additional experience in submarine mechanical, structural, electrical and electronics systems, inspection, certification and audit and surveillance functions to ensure complete work quality.

Create and modify division procedures and recommend and implement changes to processes and strategies for new or changing planning goals and efforts.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
10+ years of experience in the depot level overhaul and repair of LOS ANGELES, SEAWOLF, and/or VIRGINIA Class submarines of which includes a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
Must possess a broad background in waterfront repair and ships operations to provide a basis for resolving maintenance problems
Candidate must possess a comprehensive technical knowledge of complex systems, sub-systems, and components that comprise the Los Angeles and Virginia Class platforms to develop and implement the techniques and methods essential to support production planning and scheduling
Preferred Experience
Detailed knowledge of higher authority maintenance requirements and quality assurance procedures as well as a thorough understanding of the requirements of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) for conduct of submarine availabilities, work package development, and system test requirements
Have a detailed knowledge of DFSs, LARs, UACSs, and DRs, and ensure they are submitted when required IAW NSSF processes and procedures.
Experience using WISP
Experience using ATIS
Previous government/military/DoD qualifications including QA Craftsman, QA Work Center Supervisor, QA Division Officer, Planning and Estimating Officer, QA Inspector, QA Supervisor, QA Officer
Skills
In addition to the above, candidate must possess the skill to present ideas clearly, persuasively and logically, both orally and in writing, in order to communicate and modify or implement new planning processes, procedures and techniques.
Candidate must delegate tasks and possess sound judgement and decision making skills to facilitate timely planning efforts for short and long term goals.
The selected individual must be able to work effectively with management and working levels of other divisions and departments, and with fleet activities as necessary to identify, recommend and plan alternate short term solutions, and formulate and implement long term plans and have strong computer skills.

The Project Superintendent will:
Be responsible for managing the field construction team and all operations on site. This role delegates tasks, enforces standard operating procedures, resolves conflicts, and maintains site safety and OSHA compliance.

Required Education and Experience
Current Massachusetts Contractors Supervisor License.

OSHA 30-hour certified.
Preferred Education and Experience
15+ years of experience in construction management for building construction.
Proven record of successful execution of $20M+ projects.
Experience with warehouses, cold storage, manufacturing, distribution, and/or life science construction.
Knowledge of principles of project management for building, engineering and architecture as related to design and construction.
Ability to use engineering instruments effectively.
Proficiency with Excel, MS Project and Procore.
First Aid/AED/CPR certified.
NFPA Hot Work Safety certified.
