Typical Duties for Part-Time Truck Drivers:
Complete delivery route as sequenced within time constraints
Rotate Company products in retail accounts as needed
Accurately calculate the amount due and collect payment for the product delivered to each account
Correctly complete all required paperwork during the driver check-in process at the completion of the daily route
Skills / Qualifications for Part-Time Truck Drivers:
Box truck driving experience preferred
Ability to maneuver 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases at each delivery location
Solid math skills
Ability to operate company trucks, forklifts, and equipment dolly

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store).
Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre- and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).
Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g., proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.
Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required. Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of: DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.
Skill in: driving over long distances, over a variety of terrains and in varying weather conditions, communicating with customers; solving problems; delivering product.
Ability to: drive a tractor-trailer unit both in the day and at night in a variety of traffic and weather conditions and remain alert and aware of surroundings; meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company; handle hazardous materials and food and restaurant items that are frozen, dry and refrigerated; operate a 3 axle tractor, 45' - 48' trailer, straight truck, on board computer, key pad and a 2 wheel hand cart; ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records ; perform basic math functions (e.g. add, subtract, multiply, divide); effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision; solve problems.

Momar, Inc., a privately-owned specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is currently seeking a CDL Driver for our Cambridge, OH location. As a Driver, you will report to the Facility Supervisor and will be responsible for safely operating single and dual trailers, primarily hauling bulk liquids. Periodically, the Driver will also be expected to drive a dust suppression spray truck to spray roads with chemical product. The ideal candidate will perform long haul routes, with some overnights a week.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting and reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
Operate the vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as local, state, and federal laws, and company policies.
Courteously interact with both internal and external customers, ensuring professional and timely service.
Safely lift and connect plumbing to move, load, and unload liquids from tanks and trucks. Ensure that all areas inside and outside the trucks are clean and free of debris.
Demonstrates the ability to service, operate, and maintain pumps and plumbing, as well as perform chemical blending.
Tracks blends, performs blending successfully, monitors, documents, submits forms, and collaborates with the laboratory technical team.
Immediately notify the supervisor of any drips or spills of materials and cleans them up as much as possible.
Neatly replace trash/recycling receptacles at the curb or designated area.
Immediately notify the supervisor of any safety hazards, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Maintain and update chemical sheets and driver logs.
