Superior Group history

Following its initial public offering in 1968, Superior acquired companies which allowed for further diversification of product lines.

Earnings rose steadily until a slight slowdown occurred in 1986, but the company experienced an upswing after issuing an innovative sales catalogue and following a licensing agreement with Disney.

Superior Uniform is part of the Adopt-A-Shore program and has been hosting on-site blood drives since 1987! Participating in these activities really makes me feel like part of a great team.

Realizing the growing awareness to environmental issues, Superior began making operation room garments that could be reused. As a result of increased sales in the healthcare sector and a continued focus toward efficiency, Superior Surgical finished 1990 with record results.

In 1992, a major new offering expands Superior’s service portfolio: it is the managed service program (MSP). For the first time, customers can align Superior to manage the full contingent labor lifecycle, including the outsourcing of staffing supplier management.

In 1996, Superior pleaded guilty to one count of giving the government false information and was required to reimburse the government $6.5 million, said Charles Wilson, United States attorney for the Middle District of Florida, according to the Miami Herald.

In 1998, Superior Surgical Manufacturing Company was legally changed to Superior Uniform Group, Inc.

Our History In the year 2000 when the world entered a new millennium, South Asian Educational Promotion Network was making plans to develop educational facilities in Pakistan.

Superior recognizes that customer needs and operations are expanding rapidly in a globalizing marketplace, and—in 2001—establishes its first international office in the United Kingdom.

May 13, 2002 saw the institution applying for the Charter status after having fulfilled the necessary requirements of the Education Department, Government of the Punjab.

On January 25, 2003, the College got NOC for Degree Awarding Status, showing tremendous growth in quality education, touching strength of students above 3000.

February 22, 2004 was a milestone in the history of „Superior‟, as the Punjab Cabinet approved the Grant of Charter (Degree-Awarding Status) to Superior College in the private sector for providing Higher Education.

In order to both support United States recruitment efforts and deliver services within India, Superior acquires Summit HR India in 2007.

Amidst this fast growing tendency the year 2008 witnessed an absolutely outstanding success of two huge projects including Sargodha College Campus and a large purpose built University campus at Raiwind Road, Lahore.
