Superior is looking for a Construction Safety Manager to ensure that every team member on our jobsites is safe and secure. This position will maintain safe conditions for people and property, investigate and prevent accidents, analyze risks, and handle emergency response. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus, Ohio
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of safety professionals on our jobsite, finding ways to help each grow and succeed
* Collaborate across the jobsite with Field Operations and Project Operations team members, as well as the General Contractor and other trade partners
* Conduct various jobsite trainings for team members, and ensure that all training records are logged and maintained
* Investigate and document all injuries, incidents, and near misses; identify the root cause(s); and implement corrective actions
* Evaluate and ensure proper procedures for crane lifts, excavations, electrical, and other high-risk activities
* Maintain daily reports describing activities completed, critical conversations, issues, and other relevant items

Collaborate with leads and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
