Sales Representative Trainee (0-6 months)
$22/hour, based on a 45-hour work week (target annualized pay: $54,000)
Paid training with mentorship and professional development
No commission during this phase
Sales Representative (6-18 months)
$60,000 annualized base (based on 45-hour work week)
Plus commission on territory gross margin
Total compensation target: $70,000-$80,000 (based on performance and business results)
Successful completion of the trainee program may lead to promotion into a Sales Representative role. Advancement is based on individual performance, business needs, and demonstrated readiness.

Nooter/Eriksen is seeking an Aftermarket HRSG Technical Support to join the Aftermarket Team. This role is part of a team that is responsible for providing customers with support and major retrofits for existing Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGS) and Industrial Power Boilers. The expectation is that this will be a hybrid position depending on business needs.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As an HRSG Technical Support, you will develop Aftermarket project activity by building professional relationships with plant personnel, acquiring technical knowledge of assigned plants and the plant history, visiting assigned plant sites once or twice per year and making sure they know we are available for questions, and ensuring assigned plants receive and understand N/E Service Bulletins. You will handle all service calls from assigned plants, ensure each plant receives prompt, knowledgeable, and applicable responses from Nooter/Eriksen as required, quote and manage projects regarding sale of parts, engineering services, and inspection services, and assist with review of work assigned to and completed by Aftermarket Engineers.
Additional responsibilities include negotiating pricing and delivery requirements for spare parts with suppliers and working with the Aftermarket team to decide how to best provide resources to the plant personnel to assure satisfaction.
You will need to become technically competent in the general aspects of the design and operation of an HRSG including thermal datasheets, coil configurations, types of valves and where they are used, coil supports, casing penetrations, start-up of the HRSGs, duct burners, CO, and SCR catalyst and become technically competent in the typical commercial offerings of the Nooter/Eriksen Aftermarket department.
QUALIFICATIONS. We want the person selected for this role to be successful! The following qualifications are essential to be effective in this role:
At least three (3) years of experience in a position requiring mechanical skills, strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, and reading/analyzing technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and excellent customer service skills. Proactive, and able to work both independently and with a team. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, highly professional, organized, and trustworthy team player.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to read, write, problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication is essential.
Occasional travel to plants will be required. Estimated travel 20-25% but may vary based on project requirements. Required to climb stair towers, ladders and enter confined spaces during plant visits and inspections.

Position Responsibilities
Read and interpret 2D and 3D piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and ASME code specifications to plan fabrication and installation of piping systems.
Cut, fit, weld, and assemble pipe spools and components to specified dimensions and tolerances using appropriate tools and welding processes in compliance with ASME requirements.
Maintain accurate weld maps and documentation for all fabricated pipe spools and assemblies, ensuring traceability for ASME code compliance.
Requisition and manage tools, equipment, and materials necessary for each project phase, coordinating with supervisors and procurement as needed.
Install pipe supports, valves, flanges, couplings, and fittings to connect piping systems to machinery, tanks, pumps, and process equipment per ASME B31.1/B31.3 standards.
Conduct inspections, hydrostatic testing, and other quality verification procedures to ensure systems meet ASME and customer specifications.
Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality control policies and procedures.
Precision pipe fitting and welding primarily on Small-Bore Stainless-Steel Piping
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of pipe welding and fitting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Journeyman-level pipefitting or welding certification (or equivalent training and experience).
Familiarity with ASME welding procedures and B31 piping codes.
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
Candidate must also pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Desired Qualifications
Proven ability to troubleshoot piping system and equipment issues.
Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and isometric piping drawings.
Working knowledge of ASME, AWS, and other relevant welding and piping codes.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, process controls, and plant utilities.
Proficiency in using welding and pipefitting tools, measuring instruments, and related equipment.
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
Strong commitment to safety practices and use of PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection).
Essential Job Functions
Ability to walk manufacturing and construction sites, climb ladders and stairs, and work on uneven surfaces.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and work in a variety of positions (standing, kneeling, overhead).
Daily use of welding equipment, forklifts, hand tools, and computers for job documentation and communication.
