Warm Line Supervisor (521) Porterville, CA Under the oversight of the Regional Director, the Warm Line Supervisor is responsible for the service delivery program to consumers and performs related work as required. The Warm Line Supervisor has demonstrated the ability to independently handle responsibilities in the basic program services delivery. The emphasis here is the Supervisor will be responsible for overall supervision, scheduling staff, keeping and recording accurate data and reporting as required by Tulare County, Kings View and other entities, and be an active, independent participant as a full member of the service delivery team. This position will also assist with staffing requirements and coverage for the program if needed. This position will be the lead person to engage in community programs, event coordination and outreach. This position will be responsible for report summaries. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE The Supervisor oversees all inventory activities related to raw materials, packaging, and ingredients, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accountability throughout warehouse operations. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE The Supervisor oversees all inventory activities related to raw materials, packaging, and ingredients, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accountability throughout warehouse operations. This role supports both external and intercompany production needs by ensuring materials are available on time and moving efficiently through the workflow. The supervisor routinely evaluates material flow and capacity to maintain smooth operations and prevent bottlenecks. Additional responsibilities include leading shrink-reduction initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate data reporting, and coordinating audits with internal and external auditors. The position collaborates closely with warehouse, inventory control, production, operations, finance, and intercompany teams to uphold company standards, drive continuous improvement, and ensure proper management of all materials from receipt to consumption. Supervises product movement/rotation for maximum inventory benefit. Will be involved with all employee relations including, but not limited to, evaluations, skill development, growth and advancement, and all disciplinary actions Communicate accurate information to management and other departments to ensure correct measures are taken and followed Ensures departmental compliance with company standard operating procedures, GMP's, policies and guidelines Manages flow of work withing the warehouse to ensure maximum productivity, safety, and efficiency Assigns orders to loaders based on experience level, and priority/appointment time Inspect and audit all inbound/outbound orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance which may include special instructions Ensures accuracy of all inbound and outbound orders The conduct shift starts up meetings and any departmental meetings Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information, resolves problems, and identifies warehouse system improvements Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs Performs other assigned duties and/or projects to support business needs WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer/employee relations skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to coach and develop employees by leveraging company-provided performance metrics Self-motivated and proactive, able to exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Competent in entering, retrieving, and analyzing data Familiarity with company GMPs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines. Working knowledge of relevant business systems, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and WMS/LMS/ERP platforms Strong communication skills, both written and verbally Minimum Qualifications: High School/GED or 3-5 years' experience in inventory control or warehouse operations or combination of both education and experience. Forklift Certification or must be able to obtain forklift certification within30 daysof hire Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includes maintaining a clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with WMS systems such as Red Prairie and JDE; Highly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis Experience with FEFO/FIFO inventory rotation Able to work cross functionally with operations, Quality Assurance, production, finance and upper management PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Environmental exposure - cold/wet conditions (40 ° Fahrenheit or below); will work in the warehouse building as well as ALL facilities (indoor and outdoor). Material exposure - moving mechanical parts Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, using 3-point contact on a regular basis when assigned to perform work duties in the Main Shipping area. Ability to use hands and arms to grasp, manipulate, and handle scanning objects in one position or in a repetitive motion for an extended period of time Ability to stand for long periods of time HOURS & WORKDAYS: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Rotating workday/time off schedules, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays may be mandatory based on business and/or department needs.
