Considerable experience in assigned program area/human services programs and completion of required training programs. Supervisory experience or work experience in a leadership role. Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Possession of a BSW or MSW degree and a Commonwealth of Virginia Social Worker license are desirable. Preferred Qualifications: Considerable experience in assigned program area/human services programs and completion of required training programs. Supervisory experience or work experience in a leadership role. Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Possession of a BSW or MSW degree and a Commonwealth of Viriginia Social Worker license are desirable. Special Requirements: Must be willing to work outside of normal working hours, which may include being on-call for emergencies twenty-four hours a day, including weekends and during natural disasters. Must be willing to work in a community emergency shelter in the event of a natural disaster or emergency.     Position is responsible for planning, supervising and leading the work of the heating and air conditioning mechanics. 1. Responsible for all aspects of heating, ventilation and air conditioning of all buildings in the school division. Includes but is not limited to the following equipment: Gas or oil fired boilers or all makes and sizes; burners on fossil fuel domestic water heaters, air conditioning units from window units to chillers in excess of 100 tons; air handling units of all makes and sizes; warm air fossil fuel furnaces; ventilation; all makes of control systems the equipment, electric or pneumatic or DDC, and all safety devices related to above equipment. 2. Pumps valves and other accessory equipment. 3. Initiates preventative maintenance routine on equipment in accordance with industry and applicable safety standards. 4. Visits schools on continuing basis to check plant, checks on ongoing work and ascertains proper functioning of equipment. 6. Must be able to use computer to access different types of DDC control systems. Ability to read and interpret blue prints, wiring schematics, and manufacturer's literature. EPA certified in handling refrigerants. Must possess a valid Virginia Driver License and a valid Master Mechanical license.
