ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for the training, development and oversight of quality technicians in the areas of: * GMP, food safety and quality programs * Laboratory equipment, set up and instrumentation, performing testing so accurate results are obtained. * Maintaining the good housekeeping of laboratory area * Holds Processing * Laboratory Information Management System (LabVantage) * Enterprise Resource Planning System (D365) * Other training required for team to maintain compliance to 21 CFR 117, SQF Code and other Identity Preserved product certifications. * * Schedule quality technicians to ensure needed coverage * Demonstrated ability to provide timely, constructive feedback on performance to team members. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with quality and cross functional team on issues, actively propose and execute changes to improve those issues. * Perform regular plant inspections, including but not limited to monthly plant GMP, glass and brittle plastic, and assignment of corrective actions * Follow-up with corrective actions for documentation errors review and develop trending analysis, charts and interprets data and reports any discrepancies or negative trends. * Confirm that the monthly glass and brittle plastic checks have been completed and issues corrected * Lead Root Cause analysis & CAPA investigations. * Monitor the Master Sanitation Schedule to make certain all scheduled activities are being completed.
