Please Note: We do not provide training for BCBA certification. Applicants must already hold active BCBA certification. Our training program is designed to support certified BCBAs in excelling within our company.

Manage the review of the Federal income tax provision for standalone legal entities and Consolidated GAAP reporting. Working knowledge of Interim Tax Reporting (APB 28).
Preparation of GAAP financial statement footnote disclosures (SEC reporting) and Statutory footnotes (NYS Annual Statement).
Manage and maintain the Company's tax basis balance sheet and perform the validation for each legal entity and Consolidation.
Proficient in SSAP 101 (Statutory Accounting for Income Taxes for Insurance Companies).
Responsible for calculating and booking journal entries for GAAP and statutory reporting.
Responsible for providing audit correspondence, providing necessary requests to successfully close the audit (PwC).
Manage the review and coordinate the preparation of the U.S. Consolidated Federal Income tax return, which include Non-Life Consolidation, Form 1120, and Form 1120-PC (Property and Casualty Insurance Company Return).
Manage the review and coordinate the filings of over 100 premium tax return filings for two property and casualty insurance companies in all 50 states. Coordinate refund claim filings with various states as well as handle audit inquiries and abate proposed penalty assessments.
Assist in audit correspondence and documentation with the Internal Revenue Service as well as state and premium tax audits.
Responsible for training and managing multiple interns throughout tenure. Organizing and maintaining an electronic tax calendar, which includes but not limited to annual premium tax return filings, estimated payments, quarterly and monthly premium and state filings.

Responsible for day to day involvement in the growing of plants, and implementation of reliable growing processes including pesticide application, irrigation, lighting, temperature, growing media, fertilization, nutrition, and monitoring the overall health of plants.
JOB DUTIES:
Determine nutrient and watering/moisture requirements
Control pests by implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
Control environmental conditions by regulating humidity, ventilation, and temperature utilizing Priva climate control software
Ensures development of marketable products by pinching plants, culling flowers, and determining optimum spacing
Responsible for troubleshooting crop issues and diagnosis of unknown health or damage problems
Maintain records of crop activities and observations, including pesticide applications and growth records
Delegate and set routines for Grower Helpers/Assistants
Know specifications for each crop
Follows existing crop schedules and make modifications together with management
Help to troubleshoot greenhouse mechanical/environmental control systems
Aid in the training of Grower Assistants/Helpers
Keep area free from weeds and debris, pull out dead/diseased plants. Keep area organized
Be a strong advocate for employee safety
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS and education requirements:
Supervisory skills used in the assignment of tasks to Assistant Growers and Grower Helpers
Computer skills including Microsoft office and Priva software
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to maintain detailed notes related to crops produced
Read and speak English; bilingual in Spanish helpful, but not required
Pesticide Application License
Training skills, used to train Grower Assistants/Helpers/Interns
Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or related field or;
Associates Degree in Horticulture or related field with 1-2 years experience or;
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Greenhouse Growing.
PHYSICAL Environment & Requirements:
Plant/Production facility, occasionally outside, or in-store; Possible extreme heat/cold dependent on season
Continuously requires ability to ffollow verbal and/or written direction
Frequently requires walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 200lbs), bending, and crouching
Occasionally requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, climbing and handling
May require ability to operate machinery, drive vehicles (truck, car, van, tug, forklift) or use equipment such as hand tools, computers, or general business equipment
CDL license or tug/forklift certification may be required
Must have and maintain a current Ohio private pesticide applicators license. Pesticide license must be maintained while employed as a Grower at Green Circle Growers, with taking recertification classes as required.
