This is a seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:
Lead the way in safety, teamwork, and exceptional service! As an Aquatics Lead, you'll assist Aquatics Area Supervisors in maintaining safe, clean, and efficient water attractions. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to your team, delivering unforgettable experiences for guests and team members. You'll also help plan and support events that drive the goals of Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
Achieve, receive, and maintain Ellis and Associates Special Facilities deep water lifeguard certification.
Adhere to all Ellis and Associates policies and procedures as taught by certified Ellis & Associates instructor.
Comply with and enforce all corporate and park safety policies and procedures.
Leads by example by performing all duties and responsibilities and promoting teamwork and an ongoing and supportive environment for all Team Members.
Provides first class Guest Service to include interaction with Guests who are angry or upset and creates an atmosphere that requires the same of all Team Members.
Practices, supports, maintains and enforces a total safety culture.
Assists Aquatics Supervisors in completing daily inspections of pools and Emergency Equipment.
Performs trainings including Slide Trainings & continuous on-the-job training with all Aquatics Team Members
Be the role model that all aquatics team members can look up to, through excelling in all lifeguard skills, guest service, training, slide dispatching procedures and attitude.
Follow all tasks assigned by Aquatics Supervisors, and management or as stated in the Standard Operating Procedures.
Adhere to Park Attendance Policy as stated in the Team Member Handbook
Assures that all lifeguard equipment and supplies are checked daily and replaced if needed.
Maintains daily records of attendance, rotations, and daily ride counts.
Performs all other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the Aquatics Department and Fiesta Texas.
Qualifications:
At least 16 years old
Valid Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Lifeguard license or the ability to obtain one.
Clear demonstration of leadership ability.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical and time management skills.
Must be creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
The availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions to include extreme heat and sun.
Adequate correctable eyesight for near/far/depth perception.
Willingness to cross train for other operational departments and assist same during specific short staffing periods.
Able to communicate effectively in the English language including the ability to hear, read, speak and write.
A clear demonstration of excellent Guest Service skills and an evident commitment to our Guest First philosophy.
A clear commitment to total safety, and a strong, safe background.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the intermodal ramp, ensuring efficient and safe handling of containers, equipment, and vehicles while focusing on safety, performance & productivity.
Lead and mentor a team of ramp personnel. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance their performance and professional growth.

Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and document daily ramp activities, ensuring data integrity and providing insights for management decision-making.

Organizational Relationships:

Technical Responsibilities:
Low Voltage System Validation: Conduct expert-level inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of all control panel wiring, components, and circuitry. A specialized focus and documented experience in ensuring safety and performance for 480VAC power systems is required.
Mandatory Advanced Controls Functional Testing: Perform in-depth validation and debugging of complex PLC programs and control logic for all major brands, including but not limited to Allen-Bradley and IDEC, ensuring all systems meet or exceed precise specifications.
Mandatory Regulatory Compliance and Certification: Ensure and document full adherence to all critical industry standards, including UL508A, UL698A, UL891, and Hazardous Location (HazLoc) codes. Ensure all products are certified for market release without exception.
Mandatory Technical Documentation Management: Assume full ownership of the quality assurance documentation system. This includes developing and rigorously maintaining procedures for continual feedback to the engineering team on print red-lines and utilizing high proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting.
Mandatory Systems Engineering Feedback: As a cornerstone of the QMS, inspect all panels against blueprints and specifications. Develop, maintain, and enforce a procedure for providing documented and continuous technical feedback to the engineering team to foster continuous improvement in design.
Leadership and Strategic Responsibilities:
QMS Champion: Drive the development, documentation, and implementation of a robust QMS, ensuring it meets or exceeds all industry standards.
Continuous Improvement Leader:
Champion a LEAN culture, educating the team on the eight wastes and driving their reduction or elimination.
Lead and enforce 3S (sort, sweep, standardize) endeavors in the quality area and participate in initiatives across the shop.
Develop a quality program that provides daily, metric-driven feedback to the production team.
Gather data to analyze and report rework losses and lead quality-focused special projects.
Team Development and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop quality technician(s), assigning and delegating tasks to execute on the strategic vision. Develop and implement training programs for production and quality employees to improve product excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate work method updates with engineering and brief changes to the production team. Participate in all shop-wide continuous improvement activities and work with management to investigate other standards that enhance market competitiveness.
Customer & Vendor Relations: Act as the technical liaison for customers by investigating feedback. Brief management on customer feedback and ensure timely notification of panel completions. Maintain procedures to mitigate risks of consumable shortages.
Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
Tool and Equipment Management: Abide by and enforce the implemented tool management program, monitoring equipment use and ensuring calibration requirements are met.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Required Technical Experience:
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with VFDs, PLCs, and other relevant electronic devices.
Extensive experience with low-voltage electrical systems, specifically 480VAC.
Proven ability to read, comprehend, and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
Advanced knowledge of electrical theory and shop standards.
Proficient/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Educational Background: Graduate of a technical school with emphasis in electrical work or Associate's Degree is required or equivalent experience.
