  • ERP Analyst (focus on D365)

    RSM Solutions, Inc. 4.4company rating

Supply Chain Analyst Job 30 miles from Markham

Thank you for taking time to stop by and take a look at the ERP Analyst role I posted here on LinkedIN, I appreciate it. I realize that looking for work is about as fun as a root canal. So, I like to be 'human' in the job descriptions I write. I also like to add humor to these things as well. As with most of my roles, social fit is about as important as the technical fit. So, here are some of those social fit characteristics? Here are some: I have done a lot of work with these guys over the years, so I know them pretty well. They truly enjoy working with adults. I know this may sound funny to say this... So, allow me to explain. There is limited micro-management here...there is an expectation that you don't need to be micro-managed. There is an old saying out there 'save your drama for your mama'. That is also a true statement here as well. This is not an environment where you have egos the size of a planet. So, there is an expectation that you won't bring an ego the size of a planet to the table. We are looking for a candidate within driving distance to Niles, Illinois. While you don't need to be onsite 5 days a week, we are anticipating 3 days onsite for this role. If your first question is 'how much time do I need to be onsite?', then we probably won't have a fit for this role. There are weeks where you will need to be onsite more than others. Here is what we are looking for: We are looking for something of a hybrid of a SA with some ERP experience. This role will be, roughly an 80 / 20 split with 80% of this need being technical and 20% functional. That technical experience will include solid experience with D365. If you don't have D365 experience, but do have experience with NetSuite, Oracle EBS, SAP, Infor, Epicor or experience with another ERP system, that would be fine. However, that D365 is a true solid plus. From a D365 standpoint, these guys run F&O, Order Entry, and some Customer Service (they aren't using the entire CS suite, however...they have another package for this), fulfillment (inbound inventory, cycle counts, inventory management, pick pack & ship), and procurement (they work in landed cost). This is a relatively small team (roughly 2 people in the D365 space) and a small user base as well. There are about 75 D365 users here. So, that ability to function well in a small team will be needed here. Here is what we are seeking: Solid requirements gathering, documentation and process flow diagramming experience. Experience being the only Systems Analyst on at least 2 projects in your background. ERP development experience. We are really seeking D365 experience, but if you have experience with SAP, Oracle EBS, Infor, NetSuite, Epicor or any other ERP dev experience, that would be fine.
