Responsibilities
Enters, coordinates, monitors, obtains approvals/funding, and processes close-out of maintenance and repair work orders associated with special test equipment and motor pool special purpose vehicles.
Assures full documentation of completed work for invoicing.
Interfaces directly with customers to thoroughly document customer requirements and issues - using Government provided work control systems, including NASA Integrated Systems Management (NISM) and IBM Maximo.
Pulls reports for overall management of the workflow and customer satisfaction. Maintains, tracks, and monitors the status of jobs in-progress.
Develops detailed reports which may include actual job hours accrued and issues encountered.
Makes recommendations for process improvements and maintains inventory of consumables and other items necessary to accomplish jobs.
Using a combination of NISM, Maximo, and Microsoft suite, creates, monitors, and closes work orders.
Obtains detailed work order quotes, assuring complete and accurate documentation of the work. Monitors progress and status of all ongoing work order activities and alerts supervisors of timeliness issues.
Facilitates changes in workorder status, to include but not exclusive to requesting extensions and delays, canceling, closing, and other event changes; develops detailed reports based on contract or customer queries; interfaces directly with customers to thoroughly document customer requests, changes, and problems.
Reviews process workflows with users and process owners, making recommended workflow improvements where necessary.
Also, maintains inventory of consumables and other items necessary to accomplish the tasks.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or 3 years of experience related to that listed below without a degree.
Experience in a work control environment, determining work priorities, scheduling, and coordinating workflow processes.
Experience submitting information in databases without error, and with little to no data entry rework prior to data submission.
Experience in creating and running database queries, extracting desired results, and using results or other requirements to generate correspondence, reports, and other supplemental supporting documents.
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 suite.
