Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Own and oversee the company's inventory management systems and processes.

Fleet & Warehouse Management
Build, hire, and manage teams responsible for fleet and warehouse operations.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of trucks, drilling rigs, and other essential equipment.
Select and manage software and systems for vehicle and fleet operations.
Cost Reduction & RFP Management
Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining high quality and reliability standards.
Manage RFP (Request for Proposal) processes by evaluating opportunities, coordinating input from stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Create and maintain reusable templates, boilerplate content, and a repository of FAQs to streamline future RFP responses.
Supplier Sourcing & Procurement
Identify and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers for geothermal system components, drilling materials, and installation equipment.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and availability of critical materials.
Qualifications

Job Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and effective procurement, acquisition and storage of goods and services for VTC product and operations in support of the Company's business plan and budgetary parameters. Maintain material cost and inventory levels as directed by VTC business plan and other management directives.
Provide for routine inspection of incoming materials to ensure quality levels, and correct vendor/material quality deficiencies as needed.
Establish and maintain a perpetual inventory on all items, including expendables, used in manufacturing processes.
Monitor BOM releases against slow moving or accumulated inventories for possible use on jobs being reviewed.
Advise management regarding cost changes when dictated by business conditions.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW
As a key member of the leadership team, the Supply Chain Manager will oversee Orchid's end-to-end supply chain operations, from demand and capacity planning to inventory and scheduling. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Oversee scheduling/planning, buying, shipping and receiving departments, managing direct reports.

Be the key liaison between the Supply Chain/Operations and IT for any system issue escalation and system enhancement planning and deployment.
Establish and optimize the use of M2M (may assist with others e.g. Syteline) functionality for Planning, Scheduling, Capacity Analysis, Demand Management, Order Management, Inventory Management and other Supply Chain functions.
Act as subject matter expert/user support for ERP functionality as it relates directly or indirectly to Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
Establish optimal inventory levels achieved necessary for targeted service levels.
Develop standards of operation to ensure accurate inventory records.
Assist with aggressive inventory plans and projects to achieve targets.
Establish and oversee the master scheduling process at the individual site location.

Basic Qualifications:

The Role:
We're looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager who is passionate about working with engineers to bring early stage product development to scale and building a supply chain to meet this challenge. As the Global Supply Chain Manager you will build relationships with a number of suppliers and partners across a broad set of industries to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, pricing and secure and confirm availability of product. These supply chains will need to be created in partnership with the engineering teams to help guide the product development as it scales and evolves with technological enhancement and control of quality.
