JD Logistics is looking for a results-driven individual with supply chain experience to boost sales of supply chain products in the North American market. The supply chain product manager will be responsible in supporting the sales team in the e-commerce sales activities, while coordinating with cross-functional departments within the business units.
Responsibilities:


Build the end-to-end from China to US supply chain products. Help to increase the comprehensive strength. Utilize the warehousing and logistics products with the trending of localization. Has in depth operations knowledge in industries like food, 3C, household, major appliances, apparel and accessories. Be familiar with the specific logistics requirement. Has in depth knowledge of E-commerce requirement to supply chain and logistics. Be familiar with their inbound restrictions, inventory management and system integration capability. With the innovative understanding of supply chain markets trending, thoroughly understand and use robust systems, automation, and end-to-end capability to upgrade our current service and products, lower the cost and improve the customers' experience.


Qualifications:


Over 5 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics, freight forwarding, and/or other related field. Familiar with both local logistics and cross-border logistics products, order management system, and e-commerce platform operating rules. Excellent communication skills. Be able to adapt to the fast-paced working environment. A strong sense of responsibility. Preferably bilingual in English and Mandarin

The Manager, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics frequently leads / manages the following types of engagements. Hands-on experience in at least several of the following areas is required:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of a client's supply chain including manufacturing and distribution locations, baseline of product flow and seasonality, detailed operating costs, key supply chain processes in sourcing, planning, and operations.Develop a structured approach to assessing potential improvement opportunities, and conduct required analysis to define potential supply chain strategies and tactics to meet growth and financial objectives.Analyze supply chain network design and footprints:Baseline warehousing and distribution network cost structure and capacity utilization Profile supply chain processes and inventory flows throughout the network Analyze network optimization opportunities for cost, inventory, and service delivery (experience with modeling software such as Llamasoft or other preferred):Optimal number and location of distribution centers / network configuration Optimal inventory flow through network (e.g. ship from DC vs. ship from stores; supplier drop ship options; optimal stocking positions, etc.) Develop high-level planning model to support inventory optimization across supply chain networks Conduct sourcing events related to transportation and warehousing which include spend / activity baseline assessments, process and business requirements, and conducting RFI/RFP processes, negotiations and contracting. Deep functional expertise in key areas including distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing, 3PL operating experience, production and inventory planning Experience in leading or modeling supply chains using software support tools (e.g. Llamasoft, etc.)
Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis Flexibility to travel based on project requirements

The Opportunity:

G1 Therapeutics is currently recruiting for a Manager, Commercial Supply Chain & Logistics (contract), to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC. The contract is expected to last 6-12 months and may be converted to a regular, full-time position. Reporting to the Senior Director, Technical Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for executing the supply chain and logistics (SCL) plan for our first commercial product, COSELA , and will focus on supporting our supply chain needs in the Chinese market.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the knowledge, experience, and business acumen necessary to maintain a robust supply plan for the product and its precursors. Relationship management skills will be key to your success since G1 uses contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) for all commercial manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate SCL planning activities to support supply of a commercial pharmaceutical product in the Chinese market.
* Maintain inventory accountability, through planning & reporting, at CDMOs and investigate any variances.
* Prepare performance reports (metrics/KPI) on all aspects of the supply chain including, inventory, delivery, productivity, supplier metrics and shortages with recommendations on corrective action or improvement.
* Manage technical details relating to logistics, off-site warehousing, and transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation.
* Partner with Finance, IT, and Quality Assurance to the successful maintenance of an Enterprise Resource Planning System (SAP MM).
* Maintain Master Data and Materials Requirements Planning System (MRP) consistency to ensure that they align with the Master Supply Schedule.
* Participate in the S&OP process and partner with internal teams to drive forecast accuracy and optimal working capital.
* Travel to domestic and international vendor sites and meetings, as necessary (<10%).
* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

You possess the following attributes:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Life Science or advanced degree.
* Demonstrated experience with 8+ years in a regulated manufacturing or supply chain setting.
* Experience performing supply chain management activities in the Chinese market; fluency in Mandarin a plus.
* Comprehensive understanding of GxP and other regulatory requirements associated with SCL; familiarity with NMPA/CDE regulations pertaining to pharmaceutical SCL a plus.
* Exceptional interpersonal communication, time management, coaching, and leadership skills.
* Proficient in industry standard software applications; demonstrated experience with SAP extremely desirable.
