Honeywell Future Integrated Supply Chain Leaders Intern Program (Masters Level)

The Honeywell Future ISC Leaders program offers future leaders the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and hands on experience in many aspects of Supply Chain functions. Honeywell is seeking interns for our summer program designed to set the groundwork to join our accelerate development program to set the groundwork and provide a foundation for future Supply Chain opportunities. This internship will consist of assignments intended to develop Supply Chain leadership skills in the Supply Chain organization.

Participants will participate in a project assignment with diverse experiences across Honeywell's Supply Chain.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be positioned for possible future roles within Honeywell's Future ISC Leaders full-time program.

+ A current student, attending an accredited university/college earning a Master's degree in a supply chain related emphasis, such as: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing Systems, Manufacturing, Operations or Manufacturing Technology or MBA with Supply Chain Concentration

+ Must be able to relocate for successive rotations

+ Must be able to participate in an internship prior to completing current degree program

+ Must attain Master's degree between December 2023 and June 2024

We are looking for a new colleague in the Purchasing & Supplier Development Department at our location in Farmington Hills, MI.

**Responsibilities**

+ Support Supply Chain Management Digitalization projects

+ Support the lead programmer in developing SCM digitalization programs using C#, SQL

+ Develop visualization reports in Power-BI

+ Create reports using data from ERP systems (SAP, QAD) with minimal guidance

+ Able to work with cross-functional and global diverse teams to execute various inter-departmental projects/needs

**Qualifications**

+ Currently enrolled in a Bachelors/Master's degree program with Supply Chain management background

+ 3.0 GPA or greater

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Macros

+ C# Sharp, SQL (Structured query language) programming, Microsoft SQL Server & Database

+ Knowledge of ERP system (SAP) and Power BI is preferred

**SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE INTERN - Summer 2023 - Atlanta, GA**

**Description:**

The Supply Chain Operational Excellence Intern will assist with building and driving the cross-departmental Operational Excellence program within the Corrugated or Consumer Supply Chain. The intern will preform various tasks while learning about different business functions, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles. Strong leadership and communication skills are critical for success. This position is also heavily project based and the intern will have the opportunity to lead Lean Six Sigma projects to positively impact customers and stakeholders through the improvement of business and operational processes.

**Responsibilities:**

As the Supply Chain Operational Excellence Intern, you will support the team through various assignments and projects that can be completed within the length of the internship. Potential roles, tasks, or assignments could include (but are not limited to):

+ Assisting Black Belts with belt coaching and project work

+ Leading continuous improvement projects

+ Supporting/performing gap analysis on current state vs ideal state across all Supply Chain departments

+ Working to develop process maps and learn/utilize Lean Six Sigma tools

+ Developing/enhancing relevant metrics

+ Providing data analysis when necessary

+ Assisting with cross divisional initiatives

+ Identifying opportunities to improve business and operational processes while maximizing Productivity impact

**Requirements** :

+ Bachelor's degree in progress (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management degrees preferred)

+ Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

+ Comfortable in positions of leadership

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Passion and drive to continuously improve systems and processes

+ Must possess ability to converse with multiple levels in the organization

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

+ Project management experience

+ Self-motivated with good organizational and time-management skills

+ Highest levels of integrity and a professional work style

+ Lean Six Sigma knowledge/experience is greatly preferred
