ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Supervisory responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. * Works with department managers, supervisors, and outside vendors to develop quotations on internal and external processes. * Analyze and communicate on master production plans / schedule based on customer requirements and capacity plans * Monitors contracts and the execution of them * Implements annual MSA agreements with top accounts * Manage sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure timely availability of materials and services. * Lead the S&OP process to align demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning. * Work directly with management on capacity concerns and future investments to support capacity * Analyze and establish the most efficient way to use employees and equipment to meet production requirements with the help of production managers and manufacturing engineers. * Acts as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Finance; work directly with customers as required * Apply strategic planning, lead projects, launch programs, report capacity projections, and manage within the manufacturing department to assure on time delivery of materials * Effectively uphold safety standards, manufacturing expectations, quality standards, and the production schedule with every decision. * Effectively lead to meet production expectations and customer expectations * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, usage variance, and slow-moving stock using data analytics tools. * Ensure employee discussions, documentation, and performance evaluations are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Partners with Talent Management Retention (TMR) representative(s) when necessary. * Perform other related duties as assigned.
