Position Summary:
Over the past 2 years, the Bimbo Bakeries "alternative" distribution channel business unit (Bimbo Bakehouse) has launched a new distribution channel referred to the "Fresh Breadbox". The Fresh Breadbox program is expanding from the South-Central region to national coverage in 2026. The role will be accountable for managing and leading all aspects of the operational supply chain for this program including managing and collaborating with bakeries, third-party/owned warehouse operations, demand/supply planning, business technology, and commercial teams to ensure end-to-end supply chain is effectively supporting customer growth and demand. This role will also be integral to designing a scalable solution to "shift and lift" as the business scales to national coverage across multiple distribution locations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing both internal teams and third-party logistics partners.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Operations:
* Oversee the full order lifecycle-including order entry, validation, and communication to operations.
* Ensure purchase orders are created, tracked, and managed in alignment with the Bakery schedule
