It will use processes, systems, and reporting capabilities that improve the efficiency of material supply services, using technology and monitoring metrics vital to achieve targeted performance goals. Responsibilities: + Provides direct supervision and guidance to the buyer/planner resources in the Material Supply Team. + Identifies and monitors prioritization of materials across manufacturing sites. + Owns oversight of supplier escalations partnering with source and communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level while actively working on the resolution. + Consolidates projected demand schedule review with suppliers. + Leads Supplier S&OP direct & indirect material suppliers as applicable. + Identifies problematic suppliers and works with Strategic Sourcing, Quality, Make and MSM peers including phase in phase out strategy alignment. + Leads discussions with key functional partners on business scenario reviews where applicable and provide Critical project input & support for Key strategic projects. + Drives/supports improvements in material reliability, customer fulfilment, supplier delivery performance, and responsiveness. + Identifies and develops key process improvements for key manufacturing sites regarding communication process on disruptions through the S&OP process. Qualifications: + A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Technical or related discipline preferred. Master's degree preferred. + A minimum of six (6) years of related experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or similar operations is required. Previous managerial experience and work experience in a regulated environment, Pharma / Medical Devices is preferred. + Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish, read, write and speak) + Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required + Must demonstrate the ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence peer levels + Must demonstrate insights into End-to-End supply chain characteristics and understanding of financial processes, such as business scenario development, P&L calculation and COGS + Must be able to work with complex planning tools & have experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) + Must be able to effectively present information to employees at all levels + Related professional certifications (e.g., APICS, ISM, Process Excellence/Six Sigma, FPX) are desirable.
