Spirit AeroSystems' Supply ChainManagement Organization is responsible for the procurement of all materials and services. A Purchasing / Procurement Manager at Spirit is responsible for leading a team of purchasing professionals through the life cycle of purchased components from requirement identification, sourcing, order placement and receipt/ delivery to the assembly line. Key Accountabilities:
* Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead supply chain team, ensuring process management, alignment with business objectives, collaboration on planning, process improvement, and problem resolution.
* SupplierManagement: Oversee procurement agents to ensure global suppliers meet performance targets, maintain compliance, and drive operational excellence.

* Program Management: Act as supply chain program focal in support of an Integrated Product Team. Manage and oversee supply chain execution strategies to support statement of work program projects.
Requirements
* 5+ years of supply chain experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a production environment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI) and project management tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with a wide range of individuals and departments in a diverse environment.
* Proven experience in negotiating and managingsupplier contracts, with strong financial acumen and commercial negotiation skills to ensure compliance and favorable terms.
* Ability to drive change, improve processes, and manage project timelines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Mechanical engineering or related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
* Experience with MRP systems, SAP, and manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of governance and compliance, including AS9100 or similar audits.
* APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or other industry certifications.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $127,150 - $194,900

Responsibilities
* Ensure project specific safety plan is followed by material management group while promoting a safety-first mentality and culture site wide.
* Develop and direct material management team including both craft and staff personnel.
* Implement and maintain policies and procedures for material control with minimal outside assistance.
* Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of project materials.
* Responsible for projections, financial planning, delivery schedules and material management reporting.
* Manage project support functions such as site security, portable toilets, temporary fencing, dumpsters, trailer setup, etc.
* Supervise the completion of large project mobilization and/or demobilization.
* Represent company in negotiations and coordination with suppliers.
* Verify OSD&E resolution is being tracked.
* Provide training and conduct material management related audits to ensure procedures are followed.
* Communicate and enforce material management procedures to project team.
Qualifications
* BA degree and/or eight plus years' experience in power or industrial construction role.
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all material management functions.
* Working knowledge of site purchasing, execution, estimating and their impact on material management.
* Ability to lead others and manage complex processes.
* Capable of gaining buy in cross functionally and organizationally at all levels.
