The Work:
Team with clients on their SAP functional transformation programs through your combined SAP application and functional process expertise which includes your ability to:

+ Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through the development of business cases & roadmaps including during sales origination, proposal development and client presentations

Here's what you need:
+ Minimum of 8 years proven experience as a Delivery Lead, being accountable for running the day-to-day of large SAP transformation programs in Supply Chain and Utilities while advising clients on how to create roadmap and business case, set up and mobilize, drive the execution and successful business outcomes for large SAP programs
+ Minimum 8 years of experience leading SAP transformation programs supporting Utilities clients ( (SAP support / managed services experience will not be considered for this requirement)
+ Minimum 4 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for SAP Supply Chain and Utilities Clients
+ Experience managing large SAP delivery teams (50-100 people), including in a Global Delivery model
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Controller / Planner to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is critical in ensuring seamless production operations, accurate inventory management, and effective scheduling to meet customer demands and revenue goals. The Director of Supply Chain Automation is responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation, integration, and optimization of automated systems and processes within the company's supply chain operations. This role involves strategic planning, project management, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation within various supply chain functions, including processing, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and sustainability.
Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans that align with the company's objectives and goals.
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including IT, Operations, Finance, and Sales Channels to ensure seamless integration of solutions into existing processes and systems.
Develop performance metrics and KPI's to measure impact and ROI of supply chain initiatives, and continuously monitor and optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the supply chain operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, exemplifying positive, servant leadership.
Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain automation, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to create win-win solutions and build solid, long-term relationships.
Communicate regularly with senior management and key stakeholders to provide updates and insights on supply chain and automation initiatives, progress, challenges, and results.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, engineering, business, or related field
Proven experience (5-8+ years) in supply chain management, operations, logistics, or related roles, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
Proven leadership of manager level direct reports and 40+ team members.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, systems, and technologies, with a track record of driving process improvements, workflow optimization, and cost savings through continuous improvement and automation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross -functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge and experience in health/safety procedures, compliance, and people leadership principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

SPOC is seeking a highly capable and people-centered Supply Chain Director to lead and scale our procurement functions during a period of accelerated growth across multiple high-opportunity markets. This role offers the opportunity to build a class-leading supply chain organization through an ERP transition to support expanded operations.
This role supervises a team of supply chain professionals responsible for sourcing and purchasing approximately 4,000 line items supporting our product needs. The Supply Chain Director will drive reduced inventory days on hand (DOH), cost discipline, and increased component availability while supporting growth in our business-including energy storage and control systems, marine control systems, and emerging opportunities in datacenter power applications.
Primary Outcomes
Scale procurement performance to support rapid business growth and predictable component availability.
Establish reliable supplier lead times and optimize inventory stock and pipeline to reduce expedite activity and premium freight spend.

Key Responsibilities

Build a scalable, high-trust procurement organization that supports business growth and strengthens cross-functional collaboration.

Collaborate with engineering to improve BOM accuracy, standardization, and change control (ECO/ECN), supporting efficient sourcing and purchasing execution.
Support new product introductions (NPI) and expanding business areas through early supplier involvement, qualification, and cross-functional alignment.
Strengthen procurement processes including RFQs, supplier qualification, purchase approvals, documentation, and audit readiness, supporting an ERP-enabled purchasing environment.
Maintain accurate purchasing data to ensure PO quality, reliable receiving and accounting outcomes, and effective supplier performance tracking.
Support inventory health initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to reduce shortages, obsolete inventory, and manual work while improving visibility and standardization.
Qualifications
Required
7+ years of purchasing/procurement/supply chain experience, including 2-3+ years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Master's degree is a plus.
Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management experience.
Experience supporting production/manufacturing environments with high mix and high SKU counts.
