SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Solutions Specialist is responsible for installation, and the overall maintenance of the VMI vending platform in their assigned area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
Responsible for promoting culture of safety
Provide routine maintenance and repairs to industrial vending machines
Work directly with customers, end-users, and teammates to design, troubleshoot, and enhance vending infrastructure and processes.
Assist branches in managing product inventory levels, including replenishment, consignment, and stock transfers
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, including software version and licensing
Assist in providing sales support
Assist in developing vending solutions for customers
Continually communicate with employees and customers to improve inventory turns
Perform work in a clean, safe, and organized manner
Maintain accurate records
Perform other duties as assigned
Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer software skills - Windows, Office. CribMaster or AutoCrib experience preferred.
Computer Hardware knowledge - I/O devices such as Printers, handheld scanners, Monitors, and related hardware.
Networking - Basic understanding of IP networks is preferred.
Knowledge of Vendor Managed Inventory
Mechanical Aptitude - Ability to use hand tools and work through break/fix scenarios independently.
Ability to travel 30% of the time

No direct supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/GED required.

Communicate inventory and quality control data to Logistics Manager and others as needed.
Have the ability to read and understand SOPs to perform operations.

Responsible for following food safety regulations and company policies is essential to ensure the integrity of our food-grade production processes.

Job Description:
Responsible for understanding complete scope of project(s) and associated daily/weekly/monthly tasks required for completion. Internships are designed for the growth and development of each Intern, further enhancing their skill set to add future value to the organization which they select for full time employment.
Scope of Work/Tasks or related projects:
The internship could reside in Purchasing, Material Handling, Production Control, Bill of Material or in the ERP team.
May coordinate or assist with purchasing open order report development and process enhancement.
May coordinate or assist with master data, including PFEP (plan for every part).
May coordinate or assist with enhancing Supply Chain metric reporting and or dashboard projects.
May assist in syncing drawing revisions with purchase orders.
May coordinate or assist with enhancing scrap processes and data collection/reporting.
May coordinate or assist with salvage scrap processing and reporting for material sent to salvage companies.
May coordinate or assist with the development of our Supply Chain Handbook.
May coordinate or assist with Airstream owned tooling which resides at each applicable supplier.
May coordinate or assist with subcontract processes for purchased parts.
May coordinate or assist with returning goods to suppliers.
May coordinate or assist with material review process for inactive parts disposition.
May coordinate or assist with cycle counts.
May coordinate or assist with Kanban processes.
May coordinate or assist with purchased goods market and lineside organization.
Each Intern will regularly report on progress of each selected project and be expected to present to Sr Leadership.
Requirements:
Prior Intern experience highly preferred
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Working knowledge of manufacturing
Supply Chain or Business-related studies are highly preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Great communication and interpersonal abilities
Keen eye for detail
Basic understanding of lean processes
Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
Proficient in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
Lifting 25 + lbs.
