Job Description
Reporting to the VP of FP&A the Director of FP&A, Supply Chain will play a key role in leading financial planning, analysis, decision support, and reporting for end‑to‑end supply chain activities, including product costing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. This role will serve as the finance lead to the Production, Planning, Merchandising and Distribution teams. The Director will bring financial expertise, operational acumen and leadership to directly influence key business decisions, drive efficiencies and support the company's financial objectives.
What you'll get to do:
Provide financial direction and strategic support for supply chain, including costing, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
Oversee and implement comprehensive financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting, and support long-term strategic planning, aligning with company objectives.
Partner with Supply Chain and Fulfillment leads to aligning financial goals with operational strategies. Provide financial insights that support cost optimization, service level improvements, and scalability.
Establish monthly business reviews for Distribution and the integration of product and inventory reporting into channel business reviews.
In partnership with Production, Merchandising, and Planning, establish financial margin and inventory targets to achieve the financial plan, monthly OTB, and ad‑hoc analysis. Deliver actionable insights to improve margins and working capital efficiency.
Support inventory lifecycle strategies including markdowns and excess and obsolete.
Collaborate with Planning and Merchandise to evaluate the financial impact of new categories and ensure channel merchandise plans align with financial targets while delivering commercial business needs.
Provide financial oversight into capital expenditures, supplier negotiations, third‑party logistics partners, fulfillment technologies/automation.
Build and enhance financial models to support gross margin forecasting, tracking, and reporting for both in and future seasons.
Define and measure KPI's (e.g. cost/unit, freight spend, inventory, warehouse efficiency).
Collaborate effectively with accounting teams to ensure accuracy and alignment on cost accounting processes related to inventory, COGS, warehousing, and logistics. Ensure accurate reporting and alignment with GAAP and internal policies.
Support system implementations/enhancements (e.g. ERP, EPM tool). Drive the development and implementation of financial tools, models, and dashboards, enhancing efficiency and data accuracy.
Partner with the Business Intelligence team to develop KPI‑based dashboards and expand financial reporting, leveraging existing technologies to automate financial reporting.
Manage one direct report.
Qualifications
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from an accredited university in accounting or finance.
Certified Public Accountant or MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in consumer goods or another inventory‑related field, at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
Advanced analysis and Excel skills, and familiarity using and extracting data from various systems.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and critical thinking with a natural curiosity to find the answer.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.

The Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and stewardship for the company's operations and supply chain functions globally. This leader is accountable for driving strategic, timely, and impactful improvements and for managing change to their operating environment within a highly complex and competitive industry.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

* Partner with commercial leaders and the finance function to drive improvements and accuracy within Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP);
* Lead sourcing to drive year-over-year material cost improvements while ensuring the supplier capability and redundancy to support a rapidly growing organization; examine make vs. buy opportunities to ensure that the capabilities of nVent and their suppliers are optimized;
* Lead the Quality organization to ensure the implementation of and adherence to a robust quality system;
* Drive world-class operations and supply chain management practices and create a practical mindset of Lean and continuous improvement across the organization to improve operational capability, better serve customers, optimize cost structure, and sustain high quality;
* Work with logistics to create year-over-year improvements in warehousing and distribution costs as a percent of sales;
* As a member of the leadership team, be a valuable business partner beyond strictly operational functional responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, supply chain, or business discipline; master's degree in a similar field preferred;
* Fifteen or more years of manufacturing operations management experience with a premier manufacturing organization; multisite plant management experience; consumer durables experience preferred;
* International experience; experience in Mexico and Europe a strong plus;

Pay Transparency:
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$240,000 - $360,000
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives.

The Work:
Team with clients on their SAP functional transformation programs through your combined SAP application and functional process expertise which includes your ability to:
* Engage with senior client executives on the business challenges/trends and the potential value of SAP solutions (current & future)
* Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through the development of business cases & roadmaps including during sales origination, proposal development and client presentations
* Architect E2E solutions that leverage SAP technologies, custom apps, & add on partner solutions
* Advise, design and deliver solutions based on the latest industry and technology best practices leveraging a SAP solutions and embedded innovation.
* Lead large project teams of varying size and scope - helping them achieve transformational roadmaps - onsite with clients or within Accenture

Qualification
Here's what you need:
* Minimum of 8 years proven experience as a Delivery Lead, being accountable for running the day-to-day of large SAP transformation programs in Supply Chain and Retail while advising clients on how to create roadmap and business case, set up and mobilize, drive the execution and successful business outcomes for large SAP programs
* Minimum 8 years of experience leading SAP transformation programs that support Retail and Consumer Goods clients (SAP support / managed services experience will not be considered for this requirement)
* Minimum 4 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for SAP Supply Chain and Retail Clients
* Experience managing large SAP delivery teams (50-100 people), including in a Global Delivery model
* Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Job Responsibilities
* Compile plant SIOP by consolidating data from Programs (Demand Plan, ME (Resource Capacity), Manufacturing (demonstrated performance), New Programmes (Phase-in/out), SC (Inventories) and Purchasing (Suppliers capacity)
* Identify internal and external bottlenecks
* Ensure plans are robust - compile what-if scenarios for opportunities and/or risk mitigation
* Summarize assumptions and risks to the plans and ensure these are clearly communicated / understood and final plans agreed / signed off with all the stakeholders during plant SIOP review
* Assisting in the creation of tools to simplify the following MPS activities
* Sequence work orders in line with MPS for specified products and production lines understanding all the physical and manning constraints of these lines.
* Monitor manufacturing output/performance daily against the schedule, challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from standard.
* Monitor Stock cover daily in order to avoid Stock outs as well as overstocks by adjusting the execution sequence if possible or raising the issue with the Master Scheduler.
* Monitor availability of raw material / components and escalate as required to Procurement / Master Scheduler.
* Proactively communicate/escalate to the Master Scheduler / Value Stream management potential production execution issues/constraints to trigger preventive actions against potential supply failure.
* Weekly track, challenge and report Schedule Adherence with reasons for deviation to Value Stream Management and Master Scheduler.
* Ensure actual run-rates, batch quantities and changeover-times data are tracked and regularly updated in systems
